I have a Samsurg WA5471 Washer. I feel the machine does not get my clothes clean. The water level does not completely cover the clothes. I had a live chat with a Samsung tech who asked me to do a King

i would check the cold water solenoid firstly take off the tap to washer hose and you will see a plastic filterin the solenoid which you can pull out with a pair of long nose pliers to see if its blocked,if good it may have a faulty solenoid check water pressure at the end of the by turning the tap on and direct the water into the sink

I have deep rust appearing around the bleach port. machine is only one year old. WHY is it rusting ?????

Samsung does not recommend the use of chlorine bleach in this machine. The bleach port is intended for color-safe bleach only. Chlorine bleach is an oxidizer that will accelerate the corrosion process of the drum, which is what you are probably seeing. The users guide for your machine states specifically that you SHOULD NOT put liquid chlorine bleach into the bleach port.

Samsung washer wa5471ab leaks water after washing several loads (underneath, front left corner)

You probably have a clogged filter. It's a pretty easy fix, but can be tough to turn filter cap. Project will take about a half hour, Tools needed 5/16' or 1/4" nut driver, or socket with extension. Flashlight, door stop or small piece of wood. Low profile tupperware container and a small trash can that can hold water. A bath size towel. Step one: Remove the panel under the washer door, with a 5/16" or1/4" nut driver or socket driver with extention. There are three screws to remove them cover comes off. (set screws and cover aside from where your working) Step two: Locate on the right hand side a round pipe with a "s" looking plug, it is tight but turn counter clockwise with a good bit of pressure and it will slowly loosen up. (Have a low profile tupperware container etc to slide under the pipe to catch the water. It may be good to have a bucket or plastic trash can to dump into as small container fills up. Also a towel to help contain the spills.) Step three: Once cap is removed, you will see a basket, pull it out and clean it out, You may find a sock, lint, paper or change, something that is causing you troubles in there. Step Four: Wipe out, and re-assemble. replace basket, screw cap back into place, secure snugly. Then Replace cover, It is helpful to have a small piece of wood, door stop small book to wedge slightly under the panel as you re-install the screws. Also, a flashlight to help you see the holes for alignment is nice. Good Luck. Step two:

Why does it not drain?

It "should drain automatically. If yours does not, please make sure the washer is properly leveled both front to back and side to side, make sure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the drain pipe and that there are no bends or kinks in the drain hose that might cause a blockage. Samsung also recommends cleaning the debris filter on a regular basis (at least once per month). To avoid spillage when cleaning the debris filter, it's important to first empty the rubber drain tube located next to the debris filter into a container. For more information, please refer to the User Manual."
