Excess noise coming from washer.
check to be sure it is agitating and spinning, if not you need to check the belt if equipped and the agitator. I had a similar problem and had to replace the agitator because it was stripped out. Very simple to do, remove the agitator cap and unbolt. Then reverse to install in what I have done. I have always been able to find part catalogs online that will show you all parts and how they fit together. Just search model and make.
The washer tub is bonceing all over
Its out of balance you need to even disperse the weight of clothes based on how wet they will be when the washer goes into the spin cycle. The solution is to open the washer and move items in the washer to the spin cycle stays level.
Doesn't fill
Possible that the water level sensor is faulty as it tends to indicate before the level has reached thereby starting the rinse cycle.Usually this can be due to faulty level settings or fault in the pressure switch as it can be acting too fast. It will be best to clean the inlet valve and check the flow , test the water level sensor and see if this works by blowing into the diaphragm.
Replace lid switch on kenmore washing machine top load model #110.24962301
Thats a simple one to replace. Unplug unit. Take a putty knife and release clips that secure console to top. They are located on each front corner of console. Raise lid. Unplug harness from switch. Take ground screw out that is part of switch assembly. Release plastic tab that holds switch in place and remove switch. Install and snap into place new switch with lid open. Put ground screw back in place and plug harness back into place. Lower lid and then raise and listen for clicking noise. Put console back in place. That’s it.
