Dryer goes on and spins but no heat. I've opened

The thermal cut-off at the top of the heater duct/housing blows when the high-limit thermostat below it fails to cycle the heating element on and off properly to regulate the heater temperature. This thermal cut-off along with high-limit thermostat including the cycling thermostat on the blower housing are wired in series with the heating element and power to it is cut when the thermal cut-off blows as a safety feature to prevent fire. Verify this condition by bypassing the said components. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this problem.

Rex4635eq2 electric dryer. all switches

You need to check your door switch and thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located behind the back panel at about 6 oclock. If the thermal fuse is bad, you need to make sure the vent is clean.

Dryer dosnt heat.

Check your breaker, turn it FULLY off and back on, and test again. Verify for full air flow outside of the building, the same volume as when the hose is off of the back of the dryer... Air flow restriction will trip thermal limiters, and turn off heat.

How do you get to the belt?

First thing is grab your tools, phillips screwdriver, flat screwdriver and 5-16 and 1/4 inch nut driver. Unplug the machine. Where the lint screen is there is two screws remove them. Then take the flat screwdriver and pop the lid up. Inside you will see the drum on both sides of front panel inside is 2 quater inch or 5/16 screws remove them. Then you pull the front off and have at it... make sure you know the belt route.. further assistance im by the phone 877-293-1739

Roper REX4625EW1 will not operate properly in

Hi

Check the wiring and circuits to and from the motor to the heating element and check the heating element itself for continuity or grounding. Also check the thermal fuses/thermostats and make sure you are getting 120v to each side of the connection block. If you do not find any problems you could replace the timer and see if that solves the problem.

My dryer is not getting hot

The problem is obviously in the heating circuit which is basically composed of the heating element, thermal cut-off, high-limit thermostat, cycling thermostat, and the motor centrifugal switch. The most common part that causes the dryer not to heat is the thermal cut-off and/or the high-limit thermostat. Verify this condition by bypassing the said components. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions. Indicate the exact model number of the dryer should you need further assistance.

Need to replace broken belt dont know how the

You have removed the top ... correct? and the front panel ... correct?

On the floor of the device near the motor there should be a tensioner that snaps into 2 or 4 slots. Put the belt through the tensioner and around the pulley and insert the tensioner into its slots. Lift the drum into position and reattach the front panel and then pull the top down.

Easy as pie ... right ... well ... easy to say anyway.

That is the general process for most driers. good luck with yours.
