Tricity Bendix TM310W Electric Dryer Questions & Answers
Light says tank full even though i have emptied it
[unplug the appliance before proceeding] At the back of the dryer close to the floor there is a white cap secured with a spring coil lock. Use a pliers to loosen the spring and remove that cap [make sure you have a towel in place as there will be water]. After it has drained fully [you should tilt the dryer on it's left side when viewed from the rear and then tilt back towards you to get all of the water] replace the cap and secure it with the spring lock. Now tilt the dryer on it's left side and let it drop from about 5cm. See if that resolves the problem, if not remove the left side panel - when viewed from front [ you need to remove the lid by unscrewing the two retaining scrfews at the rear and sliding it back, then remove 4 screws from the back panel that connect to that panel, there is one more screw at the top front of the panel]. Unplug the two hose pipes [red and clear] and remove the small retaining screw then pull out the complete housing [it will slide]. You can then see the black float which triggers the tank full switch. Clean it and any other gunk that is in the reservoir. If there is a lot of dirt then you may have to clean your condensor [see operating manual for instructions on how to do that]. Put it all back together and the 'full tank' issue should be cleared.
WHY IS THE CONDENSED WATER NOT COLLECTING IN THE WATER TANK
I am assuming you do not have a vent to the outside and you are using one of those little boxes/lint trap devices? You shouldn't be getting water coming out but it is natural to have high humidity hot air coming out (the water has to go somewhere). If you are using one of those traps, I would make sure it is at, or lower than the level of where the hose comes out of the dryer (allowing any moisture to come out and not be trapped in the hose in a low spot).
