We have a Zanussi that has been fine for 2 years

Dishwashers have a part usually called a separator or accumulator which traps the dirt from the water during the wash cycles while the water is continuously recycled to clean the dishes. At the end of the cycle the separator is flushed out and the trapped dirt goes down the drain. If it doesn't get flushed out the dirt builds up till it starts showing up on the dishes. Some separators have a hole on top and one on bottom with a valve which stops up one hole or the other depending which cycle it's running. The valve can be stuck or broken causing the problem.

Zanussi zsf6150 water not heating

Hi. i would test the element first. this will be the likely issue.

First, open the door
and look into the tub and locate the heating element (if it is covered, remove the lower dish rack and cover). The heating element has two terminals which extend through the bottom of the tub, note the general location where they go through.

To access the heating element's wiring, remove the lower panel located beneath the door. The panel is usually held in place with two screws either above or below the panel. It may be necessary to first open the door to the dishwasher to reach the screws over the panel, then close the door to remove the panel.

Look into the lower access area and locate where the terminals come through the tub. Each terminal has a wire connected to it. Label the wires and the terminals so that they can be properly reconnected. Pull the wire off of each terminal; they are connected with a slip on connector. Firmly pull the connector, do not pull on the wire. You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers. Inspect the connector and terminal for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced. Test the resistance of the heating element using a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1 and touch one probe to each of the terminals. A normal reading will be somewhere between infinity and zero. The exact reading differs by manufacturer and model. If the indicator does not move (infinite resistance) or moves to the other extreme of the scale (zero resistance) then the element is damaged and should be replaced.

I have a zanussi zdf 501. After a few minutes it freezes at .20

I found that at 83 minutes my washer stopped. I found on examination that the powder dispenser had not opened, some granules had clogged the clip mechanism. I cleaned around it a bit and the next cycle the machine went right through. I checked, and this time the powder dispenser had opened. Hope this helps

Zanussi ZDLN1512 Dishwasher Anti Flood Warning - How can I fix?

If it is new, it is under warranty and if you try to fix it, it will void the warranty. The water in the flood tray comes from the machine itself, normally from hoses or on an older machine pump seals. Zanussi ZDF26001XA code .30 anti flood device. how do i fix it without calling a mechanic?

Under the base of the machine, above the floor there is a tray with a sensor in it and that is what triggers the Flood Error Code. So the machine needs to come out, the back or side panel removed and the tray thoroughly dried. You also need to find where that water came from. If the salt container is in the base, it may be leaking if you were breaking up the salt.

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault. Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle". For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20 ..........and so on So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code. Dado
