Zanussi 23 in. ZDT6252 Built-in Dishwasher - Page 2 Questions & Answers
I have a zanussi ZDT6252
Possible that the main controller board is not working and so the drain was interupted or stopped thus resulting in the water remaining within the drum.
You will need to trace the main power to the control board and see if there was a break in the wire or a possible failure of the controller unit. If there is no output when plugged and start is initiated then the controller is a suspect.
Take estimate and decide.
The catch on the door was not working I have fixed
Hi
Try and Hold down on/off and prog 2 for 5 sec. When the "fac" flashes on display then Press prog 2 until display "ron". Press prog 3 until "c8 / 1 or c8/3." Press prog 1 until "c8/0". Press prog 3 until "ron". Now switch off & switch on and you are good to go. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Zunussi ZDT6252 dishwasher will not start
Hi. Do this. Go to your electrical panel for the house and turn off the breaker or remove the fuse for your dishwasher. Leave it off for 5 minutes. This will cause the machine to reset. After the 5 minutes pass, turn the power back on and check the machine. IF it is still not cleared and starting open the door and "slam it shut" using twice as much force as normal to insure that the door switch is activated.
The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it.

Zanussi ZDT 6252 dishwasher will not work
Almost certainly the control board has gone faulty. The favorite is the transformer burns or the thyristor gets very hot and burns due to a bad solder joint. Quickest no noncense repair is to bite the bullet and install a new board.
Dishwasher power there but wont fill up with water
The slight buzz is coming from the water inlet valve solinoid. It's OK.
But check whether water is getting into the inlet tube of the washer. Check the filter at the rear of the dish washer body wher the inlet tube from your water tap is connected.
Washer fails to start. Power o.k. and water supply
Hi.
Check if the water is flowing inside machine or not.
If the tub is not filling, test the water level device (usually a float switch located on a side inside the tub).
Ensure that the switch is not stuck, and test the switch using a multimeter to ensure it is closing and opening. Disconnect power before testing the switch.
If water level is OK, then test the water valve.
The inlet valve is tested reading impedance on valve solenoid contacts. Disconnect power and remove the valve first.
If the valve solenoid is showing no continuity, then the valve must be replaced.
A dual valve sometimes can also be tested swapping hot and cold inlet contacts.
All test and repairing must be done by a professional.

Dishwasher wont fill with water
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.
My Zanussi dishwasher wont run a programme
Hello Paul, The first thing to try is to clean the filters at the rear pipe(s) that connect to the main water supply. It is quite common that when the water-flow is impeded, the programs may stop with flashing lights depending on the rate/amount of blockage.
So, pull out the unit and disconnect the rear pipe and give the in-line filters(s) a good going-over. Please let me know if this does the trick...
Best Regards,
Peter...
