How do I clean the filter on a GE Sahara 25 dehumidifier?

First remove the bucket. Easily clean the filter w/warm soapy water either under lightly running water or carefully gently clean w/towel. Tap lightly to remove any excess water. Place filter up to air dry which shouldn't take long. After putting filter back in, press. & hold the clean filter reminder button for at least 3 seconds.

Why does my GE dehumidifier freezes up

It could be that the evaporator is is not getting enough air flow or the unit has a freon issue. Low on charge or a restriction.. Air flow, dirty filter, dirty evaporator coil.
