Zanussi F1045W Front Load Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I fix the lock
You're going to need to open the washer and retrieve that lock, Malin. You should also get a replacement for it and install it so the washer will lock properly again. Last, tell your sister not to be so brutal with equipment - that never helps anything.
Samsung wf8750lsw front loader door wont open
Not sure if you mean when it is fully off or operating, but if you mean that once it is operating the door won't open, then the following applies...
Once a front loader wash cycle starts, the door on a front loader is physically (electronically) locked until the full cycle ends after spin dry. This is to prevent anyone opening the door and letting all the water out in the middle of the wash cycle, which a lot of people try to do to put in more clothing etc.
Zanussi 1200 essential washing machine, cleaned out filter now will not fill with water
Go back into the machine and check for a disconnected wire cause by cleaning out the filter. Oh and did you remember to turn the water faucet back to the on position? It helps to plug the machine in to the A/C outlet, too. Keep an eye attuned to a safety switch on the access panel as well. It may have an alignment or broken plastic fastening/ mounting design.
After each wash the softener drawer full of water
This is quite normal. Unlike the soap drawer, which is an open ended slot where the liquid detergent candrain out or powder be washed out, the softner compartment is a small reservoir that has a raised tube inside it. It relies on water coming into the reservoir and washing the softner upwards, beyond the level of the raised tube, where it then washes down into the machine. Because of the way that this works, it's not uncommon for the water that washed out the softner to remain, filling the reservoir afterwards. Since the softner is more dense than the water, when you refil, the water will be pushed out of the raised tube by the new softner you put in.
This said, if you are noticing more than there used to be, it is possible that there is a slight blockage in the tube. You may want to lift the cover that goes over the conditioner compartment and make sure the tube is free of any blockages or residual congealed conditioner.
Usually, there is a clip at the rear of the soap drawer. Pull the drawer out to its fullest extent, depress the clip and this will allow you to take the drawer all the way out. Then you can clean the entire drawer with ease. Some models have no clip and by putting slight downward pressure on the draw and giving a sharp tug when it is fully pulled out will allow you to remove it - Just use some common sense here, if it doesn't appear to want to come free, don't force it. Come bac here, drop a note on the thread and I will provide some more detailled help :-)

Hey dude ..... the first opinion may be your problem, the drum is suspended purely with bearings fixed at the rear. If you truely believe its ok - remove the belt & run the machine perhaps the motor bearings is the only other suspect.
At low revs its difficult to ascertain if a beraings faulty or not.. turn the drum by hand and try listen to & compare for noises.
hope you have some luck...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine but see if these guidance notes help---------->
-------------------------------------
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking filters and motors ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Can I download a user
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but this forum does not supply manuals direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
Good luck,
John C.

(for information- one reason I have come across for slow washing is a malfunctioning heater- taking a long time to heat the water)
Good luck,

Simpson enviro 130 washing machine is broken down!
There is a small compartment in front bottom of machine where you undo the screw with a coin. Pull out the cylinder and look inside and you will probably find a coin or similar jamming it. When you take the cover off have a bowl underneath as you will get some water coming out.
Horrible noise when spinning
this could be a fuw things doing this,,,it could be the drum bearings worn out or the suport springs broken,,,to check the drum breaings open the door and try to lift the center drum a little with your fungers if there is flop in the bearings there worn out they may also rumbel if you spin the center drum by hand,,,to check the suport springs open the door and lift the drum up if there is a lot of lift and the drum is saging to one side the spring may have broken of just poped off,,,wip the top off and you should see two strong springs holding the inner drum up, if one is missing look under the drum for it, or fit a new one?
How do I remove and refit the door seal? I'm
There is another retaining band , clip, or spring holding the seal to the front of the drum, you need to remove this to remove the sea, double the seal back inside the drum to expose the retainer.
