Ink cartridge carrier jam

Once it jams on the left turn off the machine. usually my lights are all red at that point, one is blinking the other two are solid red. open the cover. shine a flashlight in there, you will see a clear or light grey plastic ribbon that runs from the left to the right. it is the top most thing. Very carefully, clean it with a paper towel and a little water. or a kleenex. it should be almost clear.
after done, move the cartridge head to the right without turning on the printer. once again, clean the clear plastic ribbon where the cartridge head was located. finally turn on the printer, when it stops initializing, click the paper feed button, if you were successful, you won't see it jam into the left side.
if not, try repeating again. I think the optical head could also have some junk on it, and will deposit it back on the clear grey plastic strip.

the clear strip passes through the cartridge head. I'm told it is called an encoder strip and the optical head reads the strip to know it's position.

when that strip is dirty or covered with some ink spots, the print/cartridge head, can't read it and slams into the side the the printer.

this happened to my c80 at least 3 times now in seven years.

Epson C80 printer

you need to post your OS.
usually what i do in Vista.
start, settings, control panel, printers, click on the printer, right click properties, click printing preference button, the window that pops up will have 3 tabs, click on third, maintenance, you should see head cleaning, nozzle check, and alignment.

if you are looking for a way to clean the head because that utility doesn't work, you need to go to fixyourownprinter.com and get the special head cleaning kit which comes with solution to do this.

Colgged printer heads on an epson c80 printer

Have you tried a cleaning cycle? If not, try one (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select head clean). Now run a nozzle check (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select nozzle check). Is there any sign of ink on the paper. Try up to three cleaning cycles. If ink is now flowing, but not yet perfectly, don't carry out any more cleaning cycles. Just leave the printer for 24 hours (to allow any air in the print head to disperse). Then repeat the cleaning cycle/wait process. It may take a while to restore a perfect nozzle check print. If these actions produce no positive results, you can try soaking the print heads for 24 hours (or more), as follows.

Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves out of its parking position, pull the power cord out of the back, or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way. Look inside the print head parking area on the right and you will see a small rubber cup that comes up to cover the print nozzles when the head is parked (to stop it drying out). Use a syringe or dropper to fill this cup with head cleaning fluid or distilled water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER. Carefully push the print head by hand fully into its parking position so that the cup full of fluid comes up over the print head. Do not turn the printer on at any stage in this process. Leave this for at least 24 hours, then turn the printer on and try a head clean/nozzle check again. If nothing, repeat the process once more. If still nothing, post a new comment detailing what you have done and the results.

Are your hdmi wireless extenders apple compatible?

Consider the HRpart Wireless HDMI Display Adapter. Here are the key details: 4K Screen Mirroring: This adapter allows you to view audio, video, and office documents from a small device (like an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook) on a larger screen (TV, monitor, or projector) without messy cables. It's perfect for presentations, meetings, and exhibitions. Wireless and Easy Connection: Setting up this wireless HDMI adapter is straightforward. You'll need a 5V/2A power source (which can often be provided by a USB port near the HDMI input on modern TVs and projectors). If the port is occupied, a battery pack can also work. No Need for Wi-Fi: The adapter is self-contained and doesn't require an internet connection. Once connected to an HDMI input and powered, it displays a helpful screen for easy connection. You can stream movies, videos, games, and office files from your Apple device to a high-definition TV or projector. Compatibility: This device is more suitable for Apple devices, including iPhone models (such as iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone XS, etc.), MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and various iPad models (iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini). However, please note that it does not support HDCP-protected applications like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and others. You can find this HRpart Wireless HDMI Display Adapter on Amazon 1. Keep in mind that it's designed specifically for Apple devices and provides a convenient way to mirror or cast your screen wirelessly.

WiFi connected to Apple MacPro

Have you set up the printer to print wireless? If so, if you have the computer and printer setup to work together, you should be able to turn the printer on and leave it on and print one job at a time. After it prints one job, it will stop and just be ready and waiting for you to send the next job. No need to turn off between jobs.

Why my pc is switched on but the monitor screen is blank?

Was the monitor turned off separately from the computer? The monitor does have it's own on/off switch. If it's all connected to a surge protector both would normally turn off at the same time.

How can I connect Apple Mac to printer via new BTHub5-7XH2?

I suggest connecting the ethernet port on your Mac to the router and the router to your printer. You don't mention what printer you have (that would have been helpful) but I'm assuming it is networkable. Otherwise bypass the router and use a USB cable to connect it directly to your Mac in the usual fashion.

Hp driver f2492

Some older scanners are not supported by the newer versions of Apple OSX. This can be a real problem for owners of older printer/scanner equipment and windows 8/10 has driver issues with older equipment also. HP is a great printer or scanner. They make a universal print driver and a universal scan driver which I have installed both in my macs and in my windows machines (I have both OSX and Windows machines at home and at work) The universal scan drivers and universal print drivers may work on your unit. Also you may have to assign your printer a high static IP address and tell the computer and driver where to find it, as sometimes automatic pairing is not possible. Example... Your router IP address is 192.168.1.1 and it passes out DHCP addresses from 50 to 100 (192.168.1.50 to 192.168.1.100). You can assign your printers in the house of office static IP address starting at .201 then .202 .203 etc... Tell the driver you know the IP address and enter 192.168.1.201 and the driver or HP universal driver will find the printer and link up no problem.
