Use a volt meter to see if the battery is depleted or not. If you replace the battery and the alarm stops then it was a weak battery, If it keeps on then there something setting it off. You can use the information in the owners manual Oregon Scientific BAR629HGU Manuals to troubleshoot it.

Check the batteries and then you can reset the device to detect all the sensors. If that does not work, contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

I have had this Oregon Scientific model RAR186 unit for years and it works great. The only issue I ever have is when the batteries need to be changed in the remote sensor unit (Oregon scientific model #THN122). It never fails that once I change the batteries that the unit does not send a signal to the base unit. I will often hit the reset button and change the channels on the remote sensor before I finally remember that you need to do the following to get the sensor to talk to the RAR186 base unit: On the base unit (RAR186), hold down the CHANNEL and MEM buttons for at least two seconds. You will then see a graphic appear above the channel number that shows that it is searching for the sensor. Within a minute, you will then see the temperature displayed for the sensor showing that they are communicating. This is buried in the manual that you probably discarded as did I. Apparently, if your sensor is broken, you can either search to find a new sensor of the same model or also use the following sensors: THC138, THGR122NX, or THN132N I have not needed to replace the sensor as once I found the instructions to reset the communication between the sensor and base unit, all was fine. I wrote this instruction using a Sharpie on the inside cover of the sensor since you have to remove 3 screws to replace the AAA batteries (2) in hopes I will remember next time and not waste my time searching the internet and not find the answer. Hello,The message "error eep" is display on the main unit. I checked and changed the all the batteries, I pressed the reset button both on the main unit and on the outdoor unit and this message is still displayed. Can someone help meThanks

I would suggest you move the transmitter and receiver closer together or into areas of the least physical obstructions.

It's possible that one of the newer sensors could work in place of your 1457 sensor, but it depends on the specifications of the newer sensors and the compatibility with your base unit. The I MAX1457 sensor, which is a highly integrated analog-sensor signal processor optimized for piezoresistive sensor calibration and compensation. However, I have no information about its compatibility. If you're looking for a replacement sensor, I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your base unit to inquire about compatible sensors. Alternatively, you can check the user manual of your base unit to see if it lists compatible sensors. Garage door opener sensors are not universal. Safety sensors can only communicate with garage door openers from the same brand.

1.Remove the batteries to determine if they have been properly installed in the unit. I know I've messed up installing multiple batteries is a unit. Ck just incase. :) 2.Then the battery unit can be removed 10 seconds to allow the capacitor to discharge and reset the unit.

check settings, You could bypass softener for a day and night and if regenerates it is defective and should be replaced. Do you have any dripping faucets or leaking water heater.
