5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].

7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.
the waste ink tank is the spongy surface under the nozzles when the printer is in the online waiting state, remove this pad and clean it once you have reset the counter or you will soon find leaks of ink!

I think you could change this in your printers settings. go to printers ->righclick on your printer and then preferences. there you should find your color settings. put it to color instead of black and white

You need to make sure that the Canon Multipass F80 Printer Driver is properly installed on your new laptop. The printer is usually in one of the CD included on the printer package when you bought it. If you happened to lost your Printer Driver Installer, you may download it on this site:

If you previously installed this on your system, you may try to remove and re-install it once again because there cases that the driver software is already corrupted.

The black tank may not be installed properly. pl install it properly as the instruction given with user manual and try again

Printing every other line a different darkness.
Part of the printhead is out, each line is printed with a different area of the nozzles for even distribution, when some are burned out you get missing lines. Printhead is QY6-0041-000 around $40.00
