Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Hello, maybe it is not placed well. you have to check on the catridge that is bought, to know if the catridge is well doing on the printer.

Most cases the cart. need to be removed and then put back in again its triggering a sensor. Now in rare cases you might be having a sensor issue here and this is how you tell.
Take the cartridge out then unplug the printer. Plug it back in without the cart. Then put the cart in unplug the printer again then if it says this error again you know your going to need to repair or replace the printer.
What you going to need is a new print head because the sensor is in there and that is what is detecting the error.

Hi you have fitted new inks but still not much ink on the paper,
First have you followed the fitting instructions (some have a small tag to release the ink)
if you have then its most likely to be the print head unit and on most canon machines this is some thing that is shown in the users book how to remove and replace, not a cheep part
This is driving me mad!
Download and install the latest driver for your printer from Canon. Install the driver first, connect the printer to the computer using a different USB port than you usually use for the printer, then restart your computer.
Canon mp360 will not print
For that you will need to take out the printing head out: remove the cartridges normally and then lift the lever situated on the carriage all the way up - the printer head will pop out; tilt it towards you and lift it out. Now the first thing you should do is to wash it with warm water - keep it under the flow till it gets clean, no color seeps out (do that at the kitchen sink or any other metal sink, the ink stains pretty well). Then place it in a bowl of water and keep it for a night in a heated place. Now wash it again with isopropylic alcohol and later with water.
If even after that the print head is still not functional then it's surely dead, and the printer with it - it's not sold as a replacement part.
After a paper jam, my
The paper jams are detected in 2 ways in this printer:
1 - when a jam occurs the motor that moves the rollers must be forced for them to turn - the processor of the printer monitors the current drawn by the motor so when it goes beyond a limit the jam warning is triggered. Open the printer and make sure absolutely nothing is left in there that can block the rollers, not even the smallest scrap of paper.
2 - the rollers are turning in a pair of plastic bushings; these bushings have a small play in the metal frame of the printer; when a jam occurs the rollers are pushed upward (without the play of the bushings they would just snap); when the bushings move beyond a certain level they trigger a small switch that signal the jam. You will need to push back on the rollers, maybe they're stuck in the up position. If this doesn't fix it then one of the switches is stuck - you will need to dismantle the printer to access them for testing or replacement.
If you can't do it yourself then, i'm sorry, the printer is effectively dead - taking it to a repair shop to be fixed would cost more than a new one.
My paper keep jamming, What can I do?
I am guessing this problem maybe caused by the plastic gears fault, so authorized services may help you otherwise you have to open it up yourself and find a donor printer to use as a spare part.
