Freezer fine, fridge too cold!

You need a new fridge side Thermistor. If that doesn't solve the problem, then replace the Damper Actuator.

Fridge freezer keeps tripping the

Hi

Is it plugged into a dedicated line? Meaning no other appliance or anything else is on this same circuit. If it is on a dedicated circuit it could be that the motor or compressor is going bad or else there is a short somewhere. Get an engineer to do an earth resistance check on the defrost circuit and the compressor, unless you know how to do it yourself.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion. Thank you for contacting fixya.com

Hi. I have a Zanussi

Hi there,

Well, you need to clean the Refrigerator Coils...
Please follow the below steps -

Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and other appliances and shut off the electricity by unplugging the power cord. For built-in refrigerators, turn the respective circuit breaker off.
Remove both (or just the kick plate, in built-in models) cover plates to expose the condenser coils. Most plates come off without any disassembly of fasteners; others are screwed on, especially the back plate.

3. If a vacuum is available, use the long, narrow hose attachment to clean out the debris in and around the coils.
Using a bottle brush or a dryer vent brush will help immensely; especially if your refrigerator is old and hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time.

If a vacuum is not available, using a bottle brush or a dryer vent brush will do the trick just as well.

4. After cleaning, restore the cover plates onto the refrigerator and turn the power back on.

I hope this will do the job....

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Zanussi fridge freezer not working.

You will need a service call for diagnosis and repair. It could be a faulty thermistor (electronic temperature sensor), or it is low on refrigerant gas and needs a top up. Gas is the most likely reason. Make sure the freezer isn't on an Eco Mode that only deep chills the bottom, and useful if the freezer is nearly empty. https://www.google.com/search?q=Zanussi+integrated+fridge+freezer.+The+fridge+seems+too+cold+and+has+frost+at+the+back and https://www.google.com/search?q=Zanussi+integrated+fridge+freezer.+freezer+only+cold+at+bottom ..

Zanussi zx97/5W Fridge keeps getting warm...

If your Zanussi ZX97/5W fridge keeps getting warm, there could be a few possible causes:
  1. Thermostat malfunction: The thermostat controls the temperature inside the fridge. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature, causing the fridge to get warm.
  2. Dirty condenser coils: The condenser coils are responsible for removing heat from the fridge. If they are dirty, they will not be able to function properly, causing the fridge to get warm.
  3. Door seal issue: If the door seal is damaged or not sealing properly, it can allow warm air to enter the fridge, causing the temperature to rise.
  4. Fan motor issue: The fan motor is responsible for circulating the air inside the fridge. If it is not working properly, it may not be able to circulate the air, causing the temperature to rise.
  5. Temperature control issue: If the temperature control is not set correctly, the fridge will not be able to maintain the correct temperature.

Zanussi ZX97/5SI fridge/freezer. Fridge part no

If the fridge part of your Zanussi ZX97/5SI fridge/freezer is no longer keeping cool, while the freezer part is still working fine, there could be a few possible causes:
  1. Thermostat malfunction: The thermostat controls the temperature inside the fridge. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature, causing the fridge to get warm.
  2. Air circulation problem: If the air is not circulating properly inside the fridge, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature. This could be caused by a dirty or blocked air vent, a malfunctioning fan motor, or a problem with the door seal.
  3. Evaporator coils are iced up: The evaporator coils are responsible for removing heat from the fridge. If they become iced up, they will not be able to function properly, causing the fridge to get warm.
  4. Compressor issue: The compressor is responsible for pumping refrigerant through the cooling system. If the compressor is not working properly, it may not be able to pump refrigerant through the system, causing the fridge to get warm.
  5. A malfunctioning control board: The control board is responsible for managing the functions of the refrigerator, if it's malfunctioning it may cause the fridge not to maintain the correct temperature.

How can I get to the evaporator fan in zanussi fridge freezer ZX97/5SI

Odds are the fan is in the freezer side...For some reason the cold air isn't getting to the freezer. In the back of the freeze part shoud be a channel that the cold air blows thru to cool the refer. Either the fan is not working...or working slow. or something is blocking the path of cold air. Dig into it. Shoud be an easy fix.

I just defrosted a Zanussi fridge/freezer, turned it back on but won't temperature control any more.

'regulator'? Do you mean the thermostat? Modern fridge freezer thermostats don't make any noise because they are electronic and use a Thermistor electronic sensor. Is the compressor and fan running? It takes about 2 hours to get back to temperature. The control knob should always be set midway to start, then you adjust +/- depending on the internal temperature..
