You mean you cant install your display drivers for your motherboards built in Graphics chip.
You can download a free piece of software called CPUID, this tells you lots of details including your motherboards make and model http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.55-setup-en.exe Once you have got this information, either look for your driver, or post back with your details and I will find it for you

if you unistall sound device through:start/controlpanel/admintools/devicemanger. right click and uninstall the icon with exclamation device, then right click top of browser menu on device manager, and select scan for hardware changes. then search online for driver which should come with a patch and any updates which you should need to run with xp updates. then update driver, this should recify the problem for you.

Have the driver ready go to device manager find sound card if you see a yellow ? mark it might say other device Action/choose/uninstall reboot your computer windows should find a new device. I asume you know how to install your driver if not there is a reed me file with the driver. If windows did not find your sound card remove the card reboot uninstall agin in device manage. start and stop computer then install driver agen with driver redy. Larry
