Try to adjust youre size with monitor? Should be a menu or adjust button on your monitor. Then you can extend vertical and horizontal sike. Good Luck

Well firstly, i wanna know if your trying to install windows? if so then a normal windows disc is not gonna help you, there is a option in you bois which you have to unset possible it is called visualize or sumthing,

then get a Dell or acer pre intaller oem windows disc, cos there is a lock on the hard drive which you cant remove with a normal windows os disc, or yust in stall vista

So, where is the problem?

you might be able to obtain these at the HP website since they now own Compaq.

Check your memory sticks to make sure that they are full inserted and did not come loose. Check the power from power supply going to HD. Make sure it is getting power. You can also remove your motherboard and test components with an ohmmeter to see if there are any burned out components which is very possible. Have seen bad boards and bad power supply's both cause your problem

hi, Post the laptop model no and make so I can send you all the detail. you can download and install it. change the harddisk with greater space there shouldn't be any challenge on it. But you can't upgraid your cpu with duo core cpu. anyway you post the detail of you model, I'll post the detail answer. Thanks Arun
