I just got one of these and the same thing happened, arbor spun slow and hummed. I fixed the problem by removing the motor mounting bolts I wiggled the motor and the arbor spun like a champ. When I reinstalled the bolts I checked the motor after each bolt. What I discovered was the bolts where the cause of the binding so I relieved the pressure by loosening the bolts a quarter turn each. Saw now works perfect. Design flaw!

Make sure pump is submerged i waterRemove tubing from pump discharge and see if pump is pumping water/ If so your tubing is clogged between pump and saw. Remove tubing and rinse out with hose.

4. Flip over saw and lay on it's top
5. Remove the blade guard panel opposite the motor
6. Unbolt the motor assembly and remove the belt cover
7. Replace the broken belts
