have you run the pairing procedure? Usually there's a button on each device... press and hold it on the receiver unit, then press the appropriate button on the keyboard and mouse.

The red light on my
The red light is the laser that senses where the mouse is moving. In this case it's a hardware failure, the bulb/laser died out.
The clicker is a separate part to the device so it will still work, and it should still connect to your computer like you stated.
If you are really attached to the mouse, you might be able to find a general computer store/ technician who can replace the laser but it'd be costly.
Your best bet is to either see if the company will replace it, or you might have to scrap the mouse for a new one.
Best of luck! Your mouse is important so I hope it works out well :)
How do i install a wireless mouse
Kathy,
There are two items that you have. A wireless mouse and a sensor for it. The sensor is attached to the PC while the mouse stays with you. And of course you must have received a CD with the drivers in it.
Insert the CD in the drive and let auto read and install the drivers. Once done, then insert the sensor and allow the Windows to detect and load the drivers. After that happens then only you would be able to use your mouse.
Please follow these steps.
Keybord buttons on top dont work
For those keys to function, you need to install the drivers and software that came with the keyboard. If you don't have the disk, you can find the software and drivers for download at the keyboard manufacturer's website.

Wireless mutimedia keyboard
Yes, there should be a receiver for the wireless keyboard. If you don't have one, it would be more cost effective to purchase a new one as they can be had for under $20.
