Run fault warning light on
Why Kipor generators have a lot of problem? I meet many question about Kipor generator.
I recommend you Cummins diesel generator
My kipor 6500 desiel generator is not starting showing P05 error code what could be the problem
The reason may be as follows:
1.The startup battery of the generator unit is not enough, the controller is not energized, and the startup relay is out of order.
Exclusion: Maintenance of batteries (charging, rehydration) and replacement of new start-up batteries if necessary, check whether the fuse insurance installed in the controller is fused or not, and if the fuse is replaced with a new fuse insurance.
2. Start motor failure, analysis of the causes, if necessary, replace the new starter motor. Unit jammed, manual can not turn. Check the cause.
If you need to have a new diesel generator set, please visit at the good website, the quality is very good, so i recommend it to you.

I have a kipor KDE12STA generator
When it is started it shows the error code E-04 overload
After a few moments the moter switched off
What could thjr fauilt be and what could be a way reset or fix the problem
Thanks Hugh
Give you some suggestion, hope can be helpful for you.
Here is some basic principles for troubleshooting generator faults:
1. Check outside of generator firstly then inside
In the case of generator failure, the possible fault locations outside the electronic control system should be checked firstly. This can avoid a fault that is not related to the electronic control system, but make complex, time-consuming and laborious checking on the sensors, computers, actuators and circuits of the system. The real fault may be easier to find but can not be found.
2. Code priority
Electronic control system generally has fault self-diagnosis function. When some fault occurs in the electronic control system, the fault self-diagnosis system will immediately monitor the fault, and alarm or prompt the operator through warning lights such as "monitoring engine". At the same time, the fault information is stored in code. For some faults, the fault code should be read according to the method provided by the manufacturer before the fault self-diagnosis system is checked, and the fault location indicated by the code should be checked and eliminated. After the failure code refers to the elimination of the fault, if the engine failure phenomenon has not been eliminated, or no fault code output is started, then the possible fault location of the engine is checked.

I have a kipor 6700 generator with digital controls/display
it starts but shuts down after 20 seconds with a little Hz sign in the display?
If you are in Europe, you run 240 VAC @ 50 Hz. If you are in the U.S., you run 120 or 240 VAC both @ 60 Hz. Assuming that it's NOT an inverter generator, if your engine is running too fast or too slow, your frequency will be too high or too low which can damage sensitive electronics or electric induction motors. Apparently, you have a well controlled / monitored generator. While it is still running during those 20 seconds, I would check for your local voltage at it's output. If it is well above or below it's rated voltage, it's frequency will be out of range also, again, assuming that it's NOT an inverter generator. If it is an inverter type, you'll have to take it to a service center for adjustment. If not and the voltage is out of range, I would try adjusting the engine speed to bring it back into spec. I am in the U.S. My father in law had a craftsman 3,650 watt generator that didn't have the monitoring that yours does but it did the same thing. It would run for 20 or 30 seconds and quit. The oil was up and all looked well. I disconnected the low oil pressure switch and it ran fine. I replaced the switch the next day. I have a 7,000 watt Troy Bilt that I have wired into my house for emergencies but I bought a small, cheap Champion brand 1,400 watt generator for portable use. I brought it home and fired it up and out of the box it was putting out 133 VAC instead of the standard 120. I turned the idle down until it read 120 VAC and it works fine as long as I don't try to run a window A/C unit or fridge. It doesn't have the guts to start the compressor but it works great for lighting, TV's or small hand tools. Good luck.
I have a kipor power with a fault code p-03 and it
press and hold the function button turn on the ignition and hold until it ges into test mode should display something like ph 2 then start it up and test the output voltage and wether or not it produces power correctly. if it does test the output voltage with a multimeter to confirm the output is the same as displayed on the machine if not remove the control panel and adjust the trim pot on the rear of the display panel until it displays correctly,
if not it could be the carbon brushes in the altenator or the avr which is a black box bolted to the frame
How do I replace the pull start cord on kipor ig3000 generator
remove the recoil section from the air shroud or if welded on remove the air shroud
If you have never replaced a cord , it may be quicker to take it to any mower shop to have it done as it can be frustrating to get the spring tension correct when winding in the new cord
