Ev1938 driver windows 7

Creative are known for being bad at providing driver support. The latest for the EV1938 I could find is this: http://www.nec-computers-ap.com/user/download.aspx?a=169&b=626 But I'm not sure it will work in Windows 7. You might need to get a new Sound Card. You can even get an USB sound card if you don't want to open the computer. They are preatty cheap.

MY PROBLEM IS MY LAPTOP

You need to go the HP support website and download the audio driver for your computer.

Also it may be worth checking to see if the volume hasn't been muted or turned right down. Click on the Volume control icon that looks like a speaker in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Good evening .. I have

Hello Marcello,

You just may be out of luck for a Win7 driver for this card. Please refer to this article:

http://support.creative.com/KB/showarticle.aspx?sid=61105&h=13

You may have to upgrade to a new card.

The only other thing I might suggest is to try http://www.driverdoctor.com/ However they do charge if you use their drivers.

Thanks for using Fixya.

PS> Your question was worded just fine. Better than most.

Creative ct4730 driver for vista

I researched your question for you I have some bad news, according to Creative Labs they are no longer supporting your sound card they posted a bulletin here.

http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=1&subCatID=207&prodID=1864&prodName=Sound%20Blaster%20PCI%20128&subCatName=Others&CatName=Sound+Blaster

Either click on the link or copy and paste it into your web browser to read it first hand.

I do have a suggestion for you though for a newer card if you go to www.geeks.com you may find a newer card cheaper and it will be more current then the one you currently have now.

I hope this helps you out if so please leave me some positve feedback.

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.or if these fail to resolve the problem

It could be a problem with the lens, you should try cleaning the lens, it's already gone bad there is no harm in trying If you take a little risk can solve . follow the instruction: Don't panic its very simply. 1. When running your pc , open the drawer.> 2. switch off the ac power 3. remove power cable & sata or pata cable 4. remove all the screw from the back side 5. press clip to open the font panel 6. reverse the cd/dvd rw 7. just remove the cover 8. clean the optical lance 9. use a little( not much )oil place on two steel shaft 10.cover all the equipment 11.now you can fit to your pc Ifit does the same problem please change the cd/dvd rw because the lance has defected
