Follow the instructions below and it will work.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program.

When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera's have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the
camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype

set it up as follows:
Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera, if Installed Properly, it will come up and show a video picture.
Then, on the bottom of the page click save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and hear you.

B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger

set it up as follows:
Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on "Open the call setup assistant" and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on " "Show Menus." And then click on "Show the Menu Bar".
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on " "Action."
Go to "TOOLS" and click "Audio and Video Setting" and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.
When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger:

On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
Next click on Enhanced IM.
Then click on Audio Video.
The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and video camera installed in you computer.
The Audi Video drop downs are
Microphone
Speaker
Camera
The audio and camera should function now.

Go to Audigy 2 Drivers for the driver for this card. Note that there is a driver that handles Windows 7, Vista, and XP, and an older one that is strictly Vista.

Are you using the latest driver ? If yes then maybe it's an corrupted one - uninstall it, run a system cleaner and download (as in  Save, not Run) the latest one from

After the download has ended close the browser and launch the installer.

This is a driver update for your Creative WebCam Live and can download the Creative Camera VF-0040 Drivers. For 98, ME & XP but not sure if it will work with Vista. Be aure to
select the operating system to get the proper driver.

After you scroll down on the Agreement, then click on AGREE and the download will appear. Click on SAVE.

Then to install the drivers do the following:

probably itz either minor case of software corruption/improper ground/cpu fan..
or major case of faulty or defective main board/ram/daughter or addon card(s)..

..plz do check the following as in order:..
the Hardware part:..
1)see if the ram(s) is loose/faulty..open clean/remove carbon & or oxide formed on the teeth with an eraser n resit it..or replace with a standby n see..

2) 4) a) see if ur hdd is noisy or emitting any 'ticking' noise (like 'tuk tuk' or 'kirr kirr')..
b) or if the system is not supporting either the newly installed device or itz software/driver /firmware
if so, u need either a fresh os installation or ur hdd is likely to b replaced..

3)remove/clean dust neatly..dust is non-uniform in nature n may cause jam/short circuitry/excess resistance n many more..resulting an increase in heat..

4) open the CPU Heat-Sink with fan out of the socket..put some "Heat Sink Compound" (available in local electronics chip level spare market) between the cpu/processor and the CPU Heat Sink *** fan..resit/fit it tightly in position..

5) on main/mother board..see with a debug card for mb error..may b short..look for defective capacitors(esp above1000mfd)/mosfets..go through the mb's south bridge n the circuit lie around atx connector..the crystal clock generator (if cpu isn't heating up)....

the Software part:..
1) hv a licensed and UPDATED antivirus installed (i prefer avg/kaspersky, remember, without updation a full version antivirus is useless)..

2) download, install n run microsoft kb890830..http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AD724AE0-E72D-4F54-9AB3-75B8EB148356&displaylang=en..

3) download n run Startup Control Panel..http://download.cnet.com/Startup-Control-Panel/3000-2094_4-10039330.html..'remove all the unnecessary startup items from here..(if u can't find what to remove, post me/us in ur comment with all the items listed in each n every tabs herein)..

4) remove all unnecessary software from add/remove programs..

5) download, install n run 'Advanced System Care Pro'..http://download.cnet.com/Advanced-SystemCare-Pro/3000-2086_4-10399324.html..

6)disable the following:..
a) 'Automatically Restart' right click on my computer->properties->advanced->startup n recovery->(uncheck on the) Automatically Restart;
b)'Error Reporting' right click on my computer->properties->advanced->error reporting->disable error reporting->(uncheck on the) 'but notify me when critical error occur'..

7) Increase the size of Virtual Memory, Initial: 1440; Maximum: 2880

CHECK YOUR SOUND CARD DRIVER FROM THE DEVICE MANAGER IN THE COMPUTER PROPERTIES, IF DRIVER IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY THEN UNPLUG TOUR SOUND CARD AND REPLUG IT WELL.

Ok, it isn't that you can't carry a files larger than 4GB, it is just that it sometimes will not copy a single file which is larger than 4GB.
And yes, if you format the Flash drive to ntfs format, it will stay in this format untill you format it to another format again.

If i understand you correctly, you want to format your drive to ntfs format.
Click on the link where you will be instructed on how to format you drive in windows to ntfs format.

If you want to format it to fat32 format you follow the above steps just change the format.
