Here is user manual that explains about this d-link. Network storage servers are just enclosures that you add a hard drive to to be able to use it on network. per this d-link manual all the reset button is supposed to do is reset network storage its self. I would read on it a little just to be sure. Hope this helps.

1. Remove the HDD from the box
2. Connect to another system and Do not format the drive
3. Use some file recovery software and export the recovered files to another drive.

For that connect your d link router computer lan port with ethernet cable.
Then you can access it with http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"

Then go to wireless and enable wireless .
Then save and restart router.
IF you can not able to access it then reset router.
You can reset it with RESET button it is in back side of router press it for 10 seconds so all settings goes to factory defaults.

While running - press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
I needed to press firmly before it worked.
You need a paperclip.
Reset button is placed between network and usb connector.

After this you may login with username admin and blank password.

NB! Does not delete any data.

vista is only going to complicat things, try re mapping the drive, delete the shortcut and use my network places to find the drive then make a new shortcut to it if you can access it from there, i've had windows 2000 do the same thing especially with my laptop that I take to school, it a lot of times its due to changing ip's but occasionally windows just seems to forget where stuff is on the network and needs to be reminded. shortcuts can be made by draggin the folder to the desktop or desired location or right click the share you want mapped and select map network drive.

You can find the details of the operator and the state they belong to .the operators wont reveal the address and name of any mobile numbers only higher officials can only get those information.

I am sure it is now toast and you cannot downgrade if the wrong firmware has been installed. I would ask D-Link.

try changing the channel number from auto to a channel number 2 or 3 higher than the lowest channel number.' do this by logging into the d-link dsl 2640

the manual is free , at dlink dot com you push the reset button for long time per manual 15sec (iirc) the release it and now all defaults are set. per the manual, google dir-655 manual. easy as pie if you just read the manual.
