Well since we know its not the settings in the computer there should be settings on, or for the printer. Im not very familure with your type of printer/scanner but check to see if there is a button that says options or if it has any buttons at all. Repost!!

Go to file then click the page set-up.then print preview so that u can see the whole page to be print.

try to align the catridge ..goto printer panel and select align cartridge..and print again ..pls let me know if it solve the problem..

The Dell printer has a plug-in power supply, not just a power cord. It's a box that plugs in to the almost-rectangular opening on the bottom right back side of the printer. If you do a Google search for "a960 power supply" you'll find several sources for replacements. Here is an eBay auction currently running with a total price of under $20. Other sources are in the $30 to $40 range.

I assume you don't have a user manual for the A960. You can download a copy at

The getting started pages have a picture of the back of your printer. The USB device end (smaller) plugs into the lower left socket (looking at the back of the printer) and the standard USB end of the cable plugs into any of the PC USB sockets.
For your ink cartridge problem, follow the steps in the manual for maintaining the ink cartridges. You may not have removed all of the packaging when your replaced the cartridges.

Dell would have the exact replacement for sale but before going that route you might want to check online with cables2go.com as they sell just about every adapter known. Hope this helps.

click the above link, and select any of the downloads you should need.

Scanners scan things by breaking the page into millions of sections or dots and coping these dots into a picture format usually JPEG. Opticial Charactor Reader(OCR) software is very expensive and likely not even available for this model.

Open the front cover of the printer so that the ink cartridges are visible and the green kickstand is supporting the cover.

Locate the green switch to the left of the kickstand. (Figure 1)



Push the switch towards the back of the printer, you're now unlocked.

I just sprayed windex on bottom of cartridge several times and wiped with paper towel until dark streak of black appeared. Then I dried off cartridge and replaced. It works now. Must have been clogged.

Its a Hardware problme with the Printer..Printer needs to be get repaired or needs to be replaced
