Place the designated paper in the relevant tray.

1. Verify the paper size from the printing application matches the designated printer tray.
   
   1. Open the application being used to print the document (Example: Microsoft PowerPoint)
   2. Click File and then click Print.
   3. Verify the paper size.
      NOTE: For Microsoft Word and Excel, ensure that the paper size in Page Setup is the same as in the printer driver and the printer.
      
      
2. Make sure the Paper Type is set to AUTO on the Printer.
   
   
3. Cycle power on the Printer.
   1. Turn the printer off.
   2. Wait 10 seconds.
   3. Turn the printer on.
   4. Determine if the issue still occurs.
      
      
4. Verify that the Actuator No Paper moves smoothly and is not damaged (Figure 1).

   • If there is damage or the Actuator does not move smoothly, replace the Feeder Assembly.
   • If there is no damage and the Actuator moves smoothly, replace the Feeder Assembly.
     • If the Feeder Assembly has already been replaced, replace the relevant Tray.
     • If the Tray has already been replaced, replace the Printer.

this is a 'reseat drum' message. If you do that and make sure all is clean then restart it should be fine.

It is possible that your printer just needs to be cleaned. The following url provides instructions on how to clean your printer.

I had the dreaded 024-969 and was just able to print a test page.

I removed paper and reached inside the MPF. There's a spring-loaded lever facing upward, toward the back of the tray that the paper rests on and depresses. I toggled this up and down a dozen times.

I vacuumed out the entire tray area and then blew air into the same area by reversing the shop vac hose connection to the output hole.

Printer now prints.

this sounds like you might have 2 problems on you fuser is not getting hot enough to fully fuse the toner to the paper and two your black toner cartridge has been comprimised and needs to be replaced

Hi. Duplex printing is optional. You need to purchase additional accessories to enable duplex printing.

The MPF is your Manual Paper Feed.

If you specified specialty media like envelope or card stock, the printer expects that to draw from the MPF.

It is also possible that the MPF isn't sensing when paper is present and you will need to replace that sensor.

Turn Off The Printer Open The Top Take Out the Drum Cartridge Look At The Bottom Of The Drum Cartridge, There Is A Wide Belt. Slide The Belt Sideways, So It Has Movement.

The paper trays are not properly installed. Turn off the printer, take the trays out and set them in the proper configuration again. Start the printer and the message should be gone. If it isn't then you must reset the printer manually: 
Turn on the printer while holding down up and down buttons .
1 - The Customer Mode menu appears.
2 - Press Menu.
3 - Press down until Configure appears, and then press select .
4 - Press down until Maintenance appears, and then press select .
Press down until Init NVRAM appears, and then press select .
5 - The Init NVRAM Are you sure? message appears on the operator panel. Press select .
6 - Turn off the printer, and then on again.
If even now the problem is there then the sensors that monitor the tray are out of alignment. To realign them you must open the case. If you haven't done that before and this is your only printer (you cannot mess with it since you don't have a replacement) then you should call a repairman.

The 004-321 error is caused by the IBT Home position sensor failing to detect the metallic foil attached to the IBT belt.

If you remove the print drum from the top of the unit and place it on a clean flat surface (green drum down, being careful nothing contacts the green drum) and orient the drum unit so the "pointed" end is facing you, you should see a rubberized belt.This is the IBT belt and is what carries the image while the image is being built. This belt should be centered between each side wall of the drum unit. Yours probably isn't.

If you remove the screws that attach the top cover, you will find angled rollers that center the belt. One of these may not be mounted correctly.

Hi you should not change you cartridges until the ink is finish, but i need to know what kind of printer do you have? this will allow me to find a solution.

Error code: 004-332

1. This type of error code implies that you need to restart the printer again.

2. However, do check to see if toner cartridges are seated in the proper position.

3. Also ensure that they have been locked in.
