My Dell AIO 962 keeps

Hi! Try unplugging the printer from power source and long press the power button for like 10secs. while unplugged. Plug the printer again and turn it on and see if anything changed. If no luck, try to do the procedure over and over again till it normalizes. Check the cartridge room too for foreign objects or dried ink and clear it. You may need to clean it to be detected normally. Hope this helps and have a good one!

COMPUTER ERRONOUSLY SHOWS MULTIPLE PRINTERS

simple right click on the one that is not the default and select delete.

if (copy 1) is the one selected default and you want the other to be the default, right click on the other one and select "make default" then proceed to delete the other one.

it's not wrong to have multiple printers showing up. sometimes is actually needed. what you see there is not the printer itself but a logical printer. you may have 1 printer device and several logical printers for that printer device (physical device), one logical device may be used for one set of users with one specific configuration while other logical printer device may be used for another set of users with different default configuration. although if you are the only using the printer on your computer you just need one logical device for your physical device.

It is not scanning. after you select where to scan

Go to my computer, locate your scaner and try scanning from there.

Printer only prints in pink

toner to the developer does not pass from the toner bottle, and I cleaned the boat and I see that hand has good fall. But if I have this same developer unit to another machine if you load normally, then pull out my conclusion that the unit is not revealed what may be happening I would like to help me with this problem because I got tired of being disarmed and loading toner directly to the developer .

Cartridge error code 1203

HI Don,

It's mean your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the catridge

Solution

Use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and printer may work again.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

The SSID is the name of your network. It is the name you gave it when it was set up. It is also the "ID" broadcast by your wireless router, so it's inside the router you need to look. Dial into your router and go to the setup section.If you have difficulty doing this, please get back.

Dell printer work with Mac laptop?

By default, Dell printers are not manufactured to work on Mac OS. You can try using a generic driver for Lexmark printers to use your Dell printer, but chances are, your printer would not work.

What is error #2200

The 2200 error message indicates a scanner stall or jam. The steps below will help you to resolve the issue and clear the error message.

Printer Reset



1 Power off the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Continue to step 2.

No: Attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.


2 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: contact Dell.
No: Continue to step 3.


3 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Insert the color cartridge, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on the AIO.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Repeat step 3 with another color cartridge. If the printer fails again, continue to step 4.

No: Repeat step 3 and install the black/photo cartridge. If both cartridges are installed, attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.


4 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove the color cartridge and insert the black/photo cartridge. Then close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Repeat step 4 with another black/photo cartridge. If the printer fails again, contact Dell.

No: Install the color cartridge. If the printer fails, contact Dell. If the error message does not appear with both cartridges installed, attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.

Cannot print over network on Dell AIO 962 using

Dell 3300 Wireless Printer adapter has always been a hard nut to crack. To begin with, completely remove the printer drivers from your computer using the utility http://ftp.us.dell.com/printer/R166248.zip .Then download and save the latest version of your printer drivers and the wireless adapter utility from the support website. Use this file for the installation rather than the CD that was shipped along with the printer. Use the link: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=PRN_ALL_A962 . Reset the wireless printer adapter by disconnecting all cables, pressing and holding the Reset button at the back of the adapter using a paper clip for almost 10 seconds and plugging in the power cord back in while the reset button is still pressed. All lights will flash for a while and then the wireless light will go stable. Dell all in one 926 printer-error message 1203

One website said it's a low black ink message, but they changed the cartridge and still have the same problem. Sorry, that's all I know about it...have you checked your manual to see if it tells you?

INSPIRON 1150 FAILED TO PROPERLY COMMUNICATE W/ MY DELL 962 PRT.

Wireless printing setup depends on your SSID and your encryption that is setup. Please go through your printer menus and check your that your SSID is still the same as your router's, your WEP key or WPA key is the same and if you are using WPA make you are correctly setup on TKIP OR AES. Let me know how it goes and don't forget to give me a vote.

My machine works but no ink comes out when in

Hi,

Note - I am assuming that you have Checked the Settings, Tried Reinstalling of Software.

Most likely this is a print head issue. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. To attempt to resolve it, do the following:

(1) Open the printer
(2) Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
(3) Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water to thoroughly clean the print head.
(4) Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab.
(5) Once finished, allow to dry and replace the cartridges
(6) Try to print something now

If problem Persists, you need to replace Print Head. It is available Separately and Cost would be around $50 - $75.
