My server is working fine but is beeping continuously. How do I stop this beeping?

Sounds like a memory stick issue.. Try removing 1 mod at a time to see if it stops.

It doesnt reconize my cd rom at boot and is not

Enter the set up (BIOS) menu by tapping the F2 key. Hold down the <Alt> key and depress the <E> then the <F> keys in succession. This will force the motherboard to load default settings and also force the motherboard to redetect all IDE devices. Note: The selection for the floppy drive will be set to ON. If you do not have one then you must disable floppy in set up (BIOS) menu.

Please elaborate on your problem.

If you are trying to install from USB, you first have to enable the USB in the BIOS.

Older models of Dell PowerEdge servers does not support the USB function. It is all dependent on the mother board.

I have one for sale at www.JonRosenSystems.com. This is an extremely large and heavy unit. It has two P3-733 CPU's, 512mb RAM and three 18gb Quantum Atlas SCSI drives. I have more drives and RAM available.

Beeping Upon Bootup

dependent on how many beeps you hear is dependent on what might be the problem. A fuller explanation from pushing the power button to nothing happening would be more than helpful. Beeps in a Poweredge can mean motherboard, memory or as you said power supply problems.

Power is 2950 i912 sel full

Namrata_stha, The I912 error is referring to the System Event Log is full of events and because of this is unable to log anymore. You must clear the log in order for the Server Management controller to log any more events. Now depending on the OS installed there are different ways to clear it. If Windows Server 2k8 you would use this command - wevtutil el ' foreach { wevtutil cl $_ } Where with Server 2003 you can go tot he Event viewer and clear it. Let me know if this helps.

Dell poweredge t105 freezes at boot

You will have to get into the controlled setup in order to find out what the problem is, or you can simply hit ctrl-D and do the Dell disk diagnostics which will take an hour or more, but will give you an idea of where to start. Logically, if it won't boot, then your RAID is probably broken. it can sometimes be repaired through either the RAID or controller setup menu, which you can see during boot. go here, for the manuals and documentation on how to do that: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/poweredge-t105/manuals
