No wireless networks found in range

Are all the LEDs on the wireless router are on?
When you reset the wireless router wait at least 1/2 min before powering the router up.
Right click on the wireless connection and click on Repair, this will force the wireless router to issue a new IP address to the wireless card. If the the red x is still on the wireless conection then :-
To check if the wireless card can communicate with the wireless router, ping the IP address of the wireless router, (this is the IP address that is used to login and configure the wireless router) if you get no reply and all packets are lost, then connect a network cable from the laptop's RJ45 port to the wireless router's RJ45 port and do the ping test again.
If you still get no reply and lost packets then most likely you have a faulty wireless router.
Get back to me on the results of the tests and I can then advise what to do next.

No audio on my computer

Dear friend, i have to give you 2 solutions.
First and far more easy and fast:
Go to another computer, download the drivers for your computer, save it to a USB-FLASH and go to your laptop and install them.
Secondly, you could download Driver-pro or driver detective, both of them though are trials and you will need to buy them.At last i would recommend the first solution.Good Luck!

The Flickering White Lines

Your lcd is going out. The problem will get worse and worse until it eventually dies.

Good news for you though, that lcd is fairly inexpensive to replace with one from ebay.

Best of luck!

Oh, one more thing you should try updating the bios firmware, and video drivers to see if that solves the problem, it won't but...it's still a good idea to have the latest versions anyways.

Best of luck!

Dell inspiron 9100 laptop with microsoft windows

It might be a virus or spyware. Here is what I do when I get these kinds of errors.
Download CCleaner
BODY { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } P { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } DIV { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } TD { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } CCleaner has four main sections which can be selected using the 4 icons in the left-hand navigation panel.
(The Cleaner section is selected by default.) Cleaner
This is the main feature of the program, which will allow you to optimize your system, by removing unused and temporary files. It also protects your personal privacy by removing traces of the websites you have visited and the files you have opened.
(It's important to point out that it does this without removing any files you'll still need!)
Click on the "Run Cleaner" button.
Registry
This is a more advanced feature which analyses your computers registry (where windows system settings are stored) and fixes any problems and inconsistencies that exist.
Click on the "Scan for Issues". When it's done click "Fix Selected Issues" it will ask if you want to make a back up, click "Yes" and save it to "My Documents". Now click "Fix All Selected Issues" and then click "OK".
Download Malwarebytes Anti-malware

BODY { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } P { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } DIV { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } TD { FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma; FONT-SIZE:10pt } Use the link to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. After a few seconds a box or a light yellow bar should pop up asking you what you want to do with the file, click "Run" and then "Run" again. After you go through the install proccess the program should open up. Look at the top row of tabs and click on the "Update" tab. Click on "Check for Updates". After it updates click on the "Scanner" tab and click "Scan". When the scan is complete click on "Show Results". I like to save the log file to my desktop so click on "Save Logfile" and save it where ever you want. Now click "Remove Selected". You should be clean, if your still having problems open up the log file you saved and start googling how to remove the different programs if found.

Trusty Inspiron 9100 died suddenly, now won't power up...

Hey,

This could have been a overheating issue thats damaged the components already.

I'm sorry but over the internet I can see what the problem would be, Would need to inspect and test it closely.

I would suggest you get it looked at by a professional, if you only get a recommendation to replace the motherboard and a 200-500 repair estimate I suggest trying another professional.

there are people out there who repair motherboard. I've seen some deals on ebay for repairing a motherboard and it might be cheaper to get the motherboard repaired if its indeed faulty instead of getting it replaced.

Replacement is obviously the easyer process and thats what most professionals offer.

If you are fimiliar with electronics, you could test the fans yourself by taking them out from the computer and giving the required input voltage on the red and black wires. and see if it spins properly.

If it does spin fine but not on the computer, that would suggest a hardware issue on the computer possibly motherboard or other component failure.

But again this is just guessing over the internet without inspecting the laptop.

I'd suggest to find a professional who is willing to look into it in detail without a huge bill.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Ekse

Try reloading the AC97 driver. Unstall it in control panel. Next pull down the AC97 driver from download.com, or someone you trust. Run the program, and it should find the new driver.
