No boot sector on internal hardware

There are several causes for this. First make sure the Bios recognizes the Hard Drive as the Primary Hard Drive. Second, double check to be sure the drive is properly seated and connected . If these are both done and set properly your drive has either been erased or lost it's master boot record due to a Virus or Error. You can try using the Windows recovery system to recover the boot sector but I would simply use system recovery and format the drive and reload it to factory specification.

No boot sector on internal harddrive

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.Next - to check if the harddrive is faulty, remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a workingcomputer's USB port. If this computer cannot see itas an USB mass storage device and you cannot open the various folders and fileson this drive, then this confirms the hard drive is faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

Go to this site http://www.driver-update.org/passwordrecovery/index5.html and follow the instructions. You will have to buy the software for $9.95 and download it and it will walk you through reseting the password. If your laptop is a non-windows (linux or MAC) you will need the PASSWORD RESET program to match your os. Make sure you get a product key after your purchase you will need it to run the progran. Hope this helps. .

Hi im trying to get

Run the drivers cd that came with your laptop, look for network drivers and install it. If you don't have the drivers cd, you can download the network driver from another pc that has internet connection. just go to support.dell.com, click on home users, click on drivers and downloads, you have an option to either enter your service tag or select your laptop's model, then you'll see a list of drivers for your laptop. make sure the correct operating system is selected (xp,vista, win 7), you'll see several categories, click on network, look for intel driver pro 100 ve and download it, save it on a flash drive or burn it on a cd, run it on your laptop and that should install your network driver and let you connect to the internet

I have DELL Laptop

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper and I wouldn't recommend doing it especially if it's under warranty.
