(Yellow folder icon with zipper on it, and M7641v4.0.zip next to it)In the next small window go to the far left, and click on - Extract all files. At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish. In the last small window DOUBLE-click right on the file name -7641v4.0(G52-76411X9)(760GM-P34_760GM-P24_760GM-P2...)There is your motherboard manual in PDF file form.(Zip file.A Zip file is used to send large amounts of information more easily. It is a Compressed file. You need to 'unzip' it, or decompress it )(Adobe Reader uses PDF files)The Adobe Reader page number box is at the Top, to the right of the Down Arrow. When I refer to a page it is for that page number box.Clicking on the Zoom In icon at the Top ( + ) Increases the view size.Clicking on the Zoom Out icon ( - ) Decreases the view size. The front of your computer is the Front Panel. The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the Main wires go to, is the Front Panel header.Example; Front Panel header pinout:The Front Panel header is two headers on this motherboard.Go to Page 11.Here at the Bottom/Right of the motherboard you see the 6 SATA connectors; all of them Black in color. To the immediate Left of them, and situated Horizontally; is JFP2.Junction Front Panel 2.Two rows of pins.To the immediate left of JFP2 is JFP1.It is also situated Horizontally. Two rows of pins.JFP1 has two rows of contact pins. 4 across the Top, 5 across the Bottom. The Top row is numbered EVEN. The Bottom row is numbered ODD.Starting on the LEFT side, going towards the Right, Top row;Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8. There is NO Pin 10.Starting on the LEFT side, going towards the Right, Bottom row;Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.A) Pins 1 and 3 are for the HarDDrive activity LED light.Pin 1 is for the Positive wire.If the HDD LED is dim when the Harddrive is active, switch the wires around.B) Pins 5 and 7 are for a Reset switch, IF a Reset switch is used.C) Pin 9 is N/C. Not Connected. This is reserved for the factory. Probably a 5 Volt (DC) test point.D) Pins 2 and 4 are for a Power On LED light, and TWO wire.Pin 2 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.If the PWR LED is dim when the computer is on, switch the wires around.E) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch.F) There is NO Pin 10.Junction Front Panel 2. (JFP2)The Top row has 4 pins, and they are numbered EVEN.The Bottom row has 3 pins, and they are numbered ODD.Starting on the LEFT side, going towards the Right, Top row;Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8.Starting on the LEFT side, going towards the Right, Bottom row;Pins 1, 3, and 5. There is NO Pin 7.A) Pins 1, 3, and 5 are for a THREE wire Power ON LED light. This type of LED light is a dual color LED.In the past, and one example; it may have been used for computers that had Turbo Mode, and Normal Mode.Turbo being Green, Normal being Yellow.(Which was a bunch of hooey.Turbo Mode was the Normal mode, and Normal Mode was a slowed down version)Pin 1 is for the Negative ( - ) wire. Also can be said as the Ground wire.Pins 2 and 3 are for the power wires, (Positive + ), and each color.(Example: Pin 2 for the Yellow side of the dual color LED, and Pin 3 for the Green side of the LED.Light Emitting Diode. So stating LED -> light is kind of redundant)B) Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8 are for an internal speaker.Used to hear BIOS Beep Codes. If there is something you do not understand, that you need for connecting cables, and peripherals; post back in a Comment.(A Harddrive, and Optical Drive, are also Peripherals. Not just the Mouse, Keyboard, Printer, Monitor, etc)Regards, joecoolvette

Which fan/heatsinks can be used on an MS-7174 Ver 1 motherboard? It seems there needs to be clearance for some capacitors to fit beneath it.

Heatsinks are dependent on the type of processor that you have, I recommend that you call Microcenter or fry electronic

Where can I get manual for ms-7543 ver.2 motherboard cn-oxdj4c-69702-034-0295 rev ad1

MSI seems to have to incompatible numbering systems. 7543 doesn't come up on a search of their site. Are there any other names or model numbers on your motherboard? If so, I can get the link to the manual for you.

Some keys in my msi laptop are not working.

Your keys might be broken in your keyboard. You can look online to see if you can purchase a replacement keyboard for your msi laptop, then see if there is a youtube video for the laptop model that you ow. It should show you how to take your laptop apart to install the new keyboard. Or, you can take it to a computer repair store, and ask them to install the new keyboard.

I have a msi board that is not beeping during bios, what could be the problem ?T

If the motherboard is not posting there could be something wrong with your bios. OR, if you have a problem with a peripheral that might also cause the mo bo to not boot up - in the latter case remove all items except the memory and attempt to post. If it does add items one by one until you come across the epripheral that will not allow the mo bo to boot. If no post with all items removed then the mo bo is definitely suspect. U can try using a new bios chip but that is not a guarantee that it will work.
