i don,t know reset my printer cx5400, the cartridges are new and originals. i need help.
try doing this :
Reclamping the Ink Cartridges
Once you start the ink cartridge reclamp procedure, you must complete all the steps in one session.
1. Make sure the EPSON Stylus CX5400 is turned on and not printing.
2. Press a MENU button until you see CHANGE CARTRIDGE, then press the COLOR COPY BUTTON. The ink cartridges will move to the replacement position.
3. Lift up the unit's cover, to access the ink cartridges.
4. Pinch the tabs on the front and back of the cartridge, and lift it out of the printer.
5. Lower the cartridge back into its holder, then press down on the top of the cartridge until it clicks in place.
Caution: Don't touch the green circuit board on the back of the cartridge, as you may inhibit normal operation and printing.
6. Carefully lower the scanner and press it down until it clicks into place. The EPSON Stylus CX5400 begins charging the ink delivery system.
The On light flashes and the EPSON Stylus CX5400 makes noise. Charging takes about 30 seconds. When it's finished, the On light stops flashing and stays on steady.
Caution: Never turn off the EPSON Stylus CX5400 while the On light is flashing, unless the Stylus CX5400 hasn't moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes.
if the issue still persists - you need to call the vendor - it´s a hardware issue

epson CX-5400 scaner is not working, it only sends a message error and I can't find the locking system that the manual gives reference
What is the error message? SCANNER ERROR?
If that is what you getting, turn printer off then open scanner cover- on the left hand side there is a toggle log for scanner, position it to unlock then turn printer on then try scanning/copying again.
if your having a different error message pls indicate the exact error that you are getting.

We've converted our Epson CX5500 to CISS. This worked well until recently when the two red lights started blinking. Our ink supplier sent us resetting program which we tried. The server we were using could not detect the printer. When we connected it to another pc we were able to complete the resetting procedure. The technician also attached a waste ink tank. The printer worked for a day or two and now it's not working again. Is it possible that there's a problem with the hardware itself? where can i download a resetter software for my printer cx5500 w/c i used a ciss ink supply.

After I ran out of the Yellow color on my Epson R280, I replaced it with a new OEM yellow catridge, and the printer status shows Yellow catridge is now full. However, that color is missing in the prints. I took the catridge out and see that the ink outlet seal sure is punched, and can even see some yellow ink on the brim. I was going to do print head cleaning, but the user guide suggested to avoid wasting ink, first do nozzle check pattern printing, and use head cleaning only if there are gaps in the pattern printed. When I tried the Nozzle check, sure enough all the other color patterns printed picture perfect without any gaps, while the Yellow one did not even print a single dot. Given that, I appreciate if someone can share their expertise on what would be the next best thing to trouble shoot/resolve the issue...
Hello sir; Why don't try to press "resume" key before you print.

I'm trying to print wedding invitations but the card stock seems to be too thick to feed through my epson stylus cx5500. Is there any way to adjust the feed mechanism so that thicker paper will go through??
Nothing to adjust feed mechanics. If it's temporaly print, you must feeed paper 1 by 1, and when printer grab paper, push paper by hand. If it's routine print, you can adjust the pick up rubber at paper feedr mechanic. Add double tape ( 1 mm, soft) below top rubber. I have done it, and printer can grab/feed paper up to 350 grams.

I have the same problem as noted elsewhere. I get the message "Scanner could not allocate required memory. Quit other application and try again" Nothing else is open. Can't get past it.

I downloaded the re setter application from web and resetted my printer now the ink level is set to zero, but the lights are still flashing.
I think the resetter you have downloaded is for resetting waste ink counter, not for ink level. For resetting ink level counter (that reach zero) use hardware resetter or use use chip with autoreset function. Ink level reach zero is ink out, after resetting ink level reach 100% (full). But it's just program, not actually.
