You can download the Epson printer drivers from their support WEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download :-

In Windows, click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Printers
Be sure that the installed printer is listed as the 'cx5400' printer, not some other printer.

Talk to a different supplier, e.g., http://www.theinkshop.ie
in Ireland.

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. make sure there is no other conflicting softwares in the pc specially recently downloaded programs. If so uninstall them too. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Now make a test to see if the PC commands the printer. If there is no response, check the head assembly/ ink carriage to be struck or out of alignment. Check for possible realignment of any of these mechanical problems., jammed roller or head drive.
If not check the power supply unit for sub voltages to the main board. If all these test ok , the main board can be defective

Hello sir; Why don't try to press "resume" key before you print.

Press the stop/clear button then press the maintaince button(spanner) and the ON button all at the same time in that order.That will reset it.

Check whether you have removed the tape from the new catridge before installing? remove the same will resolve your problem.

The cause of your problems is you may need to replace your printheads or clean them. By doing a search on the internet you may find a solvent or information on how to clean the printheads.

Yes, you should realign it again.

uninstall the driver s/w of the printer compleately and restart the computer. then install the full printer s/w once again. you might be having the driver installation cd/ if not then download by going to epson site.
if things are looking difficult for you to do call epson for the support. do not take chance if you are confused and sot sure what you have to do.

unplug, wait a minute and replug in. try this, it should reset it self.
make sure paper tray isn't too full, take paper out and add some less.
check the ink cartridges to make sure they're clicked in and working
dbl click printer icon in applications in systems folder to see if you can reset.
