this is typically done with your printer driver through the program. there are DIP switches located within the printer, but your printer driver over rides the settings that the switches control

Just switch off your power switch and turn it on again and then press the paper out button for 3 seconds when you hear 1 beep that is the time you can change font using the font button switch and choose the font that want by pressing it.

Most printers have a fuse installed internally that is usually not servicable, it will be near the power connection on the circuit board and us usually denoted as F with numbers. Check this with a multimeter and replaced if you can. If the fuse tests okay then board will have to be diagnosed/replaced by a competent engineer.

When a printer prints garbage, it usually indicates a faulty cable or a loose connection. Power OFF your printer and computer. Disconnect and reconnect the cable on the printer and computer. Once the cable has been reconnected, power the printer and computer back ON.
