First replace the fuse in the plug or try another power lead, if you still have no lights on the printer at all then the printer PSB has failed & will be uneconomical to repair.

Look on the back of the unit, and you might see a panel that can be removed for just this sort of situation. try to bend or lift it out gently, and you may be able to see the paper from there. Also, make sure the cartridges are taken out before you try to dislodge the paper, they might be blocking the jammed paper from your view. Needle nose pliers work great for getting out paper if you can't reach it with your fingers.

This means the IR indicator is dirty with ink or something. You need to clean it.

Most obvious thing is to check for ink. If you are sure it has ink then the cartridge is either clogged or electronically dead. Use cartridge cleaning tool provided in printer software to see if that does the trick.To confirm a bad cartridge just take it to a refilling store like Costco or Walgreens who test a cartridge before they refill it. If it is dead they will confirm, and you , of course, will not pay to clean and refill

You could try to soak out the ink out of the sponges inside your printer with paper tissue or old cloth. Be careful this is a dirty job. don't do this when there is power on the printer. You could damage the printer.I do clean up my printers almost every year. The oldest is 10 years old and still makes pictures as on day one.
