the continuous beeping is a sign of a hardware problem. More than likely it is your power supply unit not delivering the right voltage levels. It is not a big deal, but the beep sound will not go away.
This is what i mean
Most computers are like this
+3.3V === +3.295V (normal computer )
+5V == +4.89 (normal signs)
but sometimes an older power suppply will falter
and
+3.3V == +3.0V (uh oh!)
thats when the bios starts beeping. you can hold delete on startup to get to the configuration menu. you have to know whats going on at this point with the hardware. normally i would just disconnect the power to the internal cpu speaker until i get a new power supply so i dont get annoyed from the beeping.
oh, the screen stays black. that means its your power supply for sure. chnage your power supply yourself for $30.00 or have someone do it for you for a lot of money. it is retarded to pay someone. it is easy. screwdriver and watch what cables go where. you have to get the right kind. atx power supply about 250-300 Watts should be fine. there is even a manual included

If the laptop was in a cold place and was suddenly taken into a warm environment, dew could have built up inside the unit. If this is the case, keep your laptop in a warm environment for a couple of days without switching it on. Then try to boot it up.... you may well find it works fine after some TLC.

Ok, on your keyboard you have a functiion key(Fn).
This key is located in the lower left corner, beside the left Ctrl key.

Ok, all you need to do is hold down the Fn key and press the F1 key.

You will be indicated that the wireless have been switched on.

Lok in start / Programmes / amilo or webcam. Open it and you will see yourself.

Depending on which progams you want to use the cam will determine how you do it!!

You have no list of which programs or how you wantto use it.

If this is the model you have, AMILO V1000, then there is no built in Wireless card.

If you have added a wireless card, it is turned on using the software. If you right click on the network icon ofr wireless, a menu drop down will say enable. The wireless will be ready to use after that card is enabled.

press Fn+ F5

First check ipaddress Click Start -run- type cmd hit enter for XP or Start -search-type cmd hit enter in Vista. On the DOS black screen after the blinking cursor type ipconfig hit enter check the ipaddress if are getting ipaddress other than (169........) it is proper ipaddress for e.g 147.14.48.478
Ping the default gateway e.g ping 147.11.445.478 if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss zero is with Internet explorer or operating system.
If unable to ping or getting 169..... ipaddress . you are having static ip address
On the black screen at the blinking cursor type ipconfig /release hit enter
then type ipconfig /renew hit enter .check ip address
Ping default gateway then ping www.google.com if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss 0. Try connect to internet using internet explorer or other browser. if still unable to connect then issue with firewall or antivirus or IE corruption .
Create new administrative account in XP and do MSconfig .Restart the system and logon to new account and try connecting to internet.
If issue persist might have to repair IE or operating system as it is software issue or virus issue.
You can connect a different computer if you have one and check internet.
If unable to get any ipaddress or still getting static ip address ,reset modem or check ethernet cable ,do a hard reset on the internet modem.Shutdown and restart computer and check ipaddress then try connecting to internet. Good luck.

when you close the laptop it clips together and the light go out the switch is in the clip thanks brian

use a paper clip fold it out and push it straight in carefully into the eject hole in the cd drive. It is a small hole on the cd drive usually close to the eject button. You will feel a release on the inside. When you push it you will hear it/feel it eject. Don't push real hard as you don't want to bend the paper clip and get it stuck in the hole

please contact any hardware shop nearest to you...

Also remove the battery and any other removeable plates below the notebook to check for additional screws. Check if there are any rubberized "feet" or plugs covering access to still more screws. Keep screws and their locations organized in case they are different length.

the battery will see on the back or side of your laptop, press the two together and lock up slowly, ,,,,good luck

maybe the motherboard or hard disk problem,...but you may try to reformat your hard disk and install new windows.....

Buy a Laptop IDE DVD drive.

I suggest that on the computer you're on now, that you download the free version of Malwarebytes, burn it to CD disk, and install it into the afflicted computer.

The virus you have, sounds Very much, like MS Antivirus! Some other 'cute' names are Windows Anti-Virus, XP Antivirus, Antivirus Pro, Antivirus Pro 2009, and so on. Wait a week, I'm sure there will be plenty more!

Some of the things it does, is not let you connect to the internet. It also doesn't let you access any Administrator options. No Control Panel, No Task Manager, No Windows Explorer, and other administrative tasks.

The free version of Malwarebytes wipes it out!
