Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum - Page 4 Questions & Answers
Dyson stopped working
There are three things that "stop" (no noise anymore) a DC07 working. I will list them in order of the most common to least common faults.
1) The motor is burnt out. Caused by over filling and not cleaning the filter regularly. You must replace the post motor filter when getting the motor replaced
2) The power cord has failed. This can usually be seen by visually inspecting the cord for damage.
3) The on/off switch has failed.
All of these faults should be repaired by a licensed sparky for safety reasons.

Dyson DC07 bagless - upright mode v poor suction, wand mode ok
Hi its Darran at Dyson.
From your description of the problem, it sounds as though the bleed valve is activating which only happens when there is a blockage.
We would recommend following the full blockage through as outlined in your user guide or in the Support section on our website at www.dyson.com.
Kind regards
Darran

How to cleean the dust casing
the removable drum can be washed. however, you need to make sure it is completely dry before using it again.
How DIY are you? the screws at the top can be removed and the lid lifts off. This allows for better cleaning and drying.
Install wand handle catch
You line up the spring, place the two top prongs behind the lip on the wand and gently snap it home onto the two locating pins. You can also now get a workshop manual for the DC07, it is item number 0955687411 on Amazon.
How do I adjust the power cam locationpower cam on a dc27
Hi Charles, it's Jack at Dyson.
DC27 is engineered to adjust automatically for different floor types - there is no way of manually adjusting the height of the wheels or brush bar. The vacuum may need higher push force on certain types of deep pile carpeting. We would recommend checking directly with the carpet manufacturer for their advice on caring for this particular carpeting - manfacturers may recommend vacuuming some carpets with the brush bar turned off, and it may be worth giving this a try.
To turn off the brush bar, just use the brush control switch next to the red on/off switch:
DC07 Very difficult to push forward.
on the front of the base there are 3 very small rollers made out of rubber, these are either just dry and won't turn or worn and or damaged,
that is your problem / honest its that simple
