Check the brush. That could be the problem. Check the belt also. Your brush roller may need to be lubed or even replaced.

Hi its Darran at Dyson.

Check that the brush control dial is in the centre position when the machine is locked upright. When you release the head and pull the handle back this dial should mopve forward to the on position. Once here, the brush bar should turn.

I would recommend checking the dyson vacuum brushroll first. If there is any hair or thread wrapped around it you are going to want to cut all of that free that way your brushroll can spin freely. I would also recommend checking the filter and washing or replacing that. On the DC 14 that is going to be on the top of the dust canister as well as under the canister if you lift it off of the unit. Dyson vacuum repair Highlands Ranch
