Photocopying is ok but copier doesn't print from computer. please help.
in this case you need to post the exact maker and model . then weather it is wired or wireless . paper is not registering then something is blocking the sensor ,often we let things drop onto the copier and they get pulled in with the next copy or a small piece of paper is caught in the track.be sure the whole track is clear often the is a plate to remove and clear paper.
generally if nothing is wrong that you can find try reinstalling the firmware from manufacturers website .
there is a lot of problems with HP printer software if you install full feature version. my C309 wireless will not print. but uninstalled the software and installed the drivers only version and now it works , this was true on both my laptop and my pc with windows seven ULT and windows 8.1 PRO. comeback with model ,maker, and wired or wireless to get more detailed answer
Why is red light flashing on data?
The copier is detecting a network request. whether there is one still or was one and now it is looping back on that can usually be cleared by unplugging your network ethernet cable then ether clearing your Que or powering down the machine. reverse order and make sure you have a blinking green light on your Network Interface Card NIC what the cable plugs into on the copier side. Obviously tell your office manager you are clearing out the printer Que before you do, there might be something important headed that way. ;-)
