Hi, A wireless hard drive? Wouha, you're lucky... 1. It's possible that the wireless adapter is disabled in the bios -> enable it. 2. Maybe it's only disabled in the device manager -> enable it. 3. It can be that the drivers for the adapter aren't installed -> install them. Hope helps.

Dial up modems have 2 phone line connections side by side in the back of a desktop, one is for the wall, other is for your telephone. Laptops have just one phone line connector. SOLUTION FOR Four keys as g,h, backspace and windows key...:-

I read this on a website and it worked wonders for me. TRY THIS:-

1. Just remove the adapter so that your laptop does not get any power.

2. Let the battery go completely empty and let the laptop get shut down with low battery automatically.

3. After laptop gets shut down, remove the battery and clean it with some cloth. Also clean the battery panel.

4. Press and hold the power button for kind of 30 seconds or so (laptop will not get ON).

5. Plug in the adapter to the laptop and start the laptop normally.

This process will fix it for you.


If the above does not work:-

1. Start the computer in safe mode with the last best configuration. It may also work for you.

You can blow compressed air into the cooling vents of the fan. If you notice clouds of dust coming out, then it might be a good idea to disassemble the laptop, clean the fan & air ways, & reassemble it back. If the fan has failed & is no longer running, it might need to be replaced.

More info required...full description of setup etc...was it working before.

Start taking your laptop apart piece by piece and test it after each removed component:
1. Remove the hard drive and test the laptop.
2. Remove the DVD drive and test the laptop.
3. Remove the wireless card and test the laptop.
4. Unplug the display panel from the motherboard/video card and test the laptop.
etc....
Continue taking it apart until you have only three major components connected: motherboard (with video card), processor, and memory. If you still experience the same problem, most likely it's bad motherboard.
By the way, before you start, try reconnecting the memory module. If you have two modules installed, try removing them one by one and test the laptop with each one separately

A fiddly job to do but is possible. The key that has come off will have a clip attachment underneath, you need to remove it and fit it to the clips on the keyboard first. It will be in an X configuration so you need 2 very small screwdrivers (jewellers ones work well) to lift the "X" once connected to the keyboard and connect to one side of the key button.Once done on one side remove the screwdrivers and press down on the key button to click the other side in place.

I can't think of a better way to describe it. One of those " easy if you know how" things.

Could you tell us more information. A laptop can't work, A computer does not work for a number of reasons. Not just the battery issue.

Choose download all direct x at the bottom right.

could be hard drive failure,or you might try to reinstall windows before bying a new hardrive,but before any of that go to the BIOS and make sure that the boot order is right usualy hard drive first

it could mean your locked out untill your daughter is back.. or maybe the CAPS key is pressed or the NUMLK key is pressed, to fix you just push each once

you can unlock or lock the keypad of your notepad by pressing the "fn" key and F7 key simultaneously. In some versions this feature is changed to "fn + F6" keys. please check the symbol on the keys from (F4-F7), where you can find the symbol of "hand on pad". press fn and that particular key simultaneously to unlock your touchpad! i have shown the picture of another laptop. please observe the F7 key in that picture given below. you can see the symbol i specified. hope this is helpful.
