8 out of 10 times this would be because the power supply failed due to a power surge.
1 out of 10 times it would be because the main board got a surge through, say, antenna input and got fried.
1 out of 10 times this would be totally unrelated failure to the lightning that could have happened for whatever other random reason, but would still be one of the two failures mentioned above, just for a differnet reason.
The power supply board for DP32640 should be PWB.POWER.N8LF and goes for about $29 on eBay right now.
I'd give it a try if I were you.
Before you do that you may want to test your own power board.

http://blog.coppelltvrepair.com for power board testing - it won't have yours, but it will have others and the principle is going to be pretty much the same as with most 32'' and even 40'' LCD TVs.

Power supply regulator board fault. Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "

Hi Angela, depending on if your warranty is still in place call the company that makes the television, the should be able to help you out. Even if your warranty is expired they may still be able to help.
Keeps reseting itself
Dude check your A/V or HDMI cables or whatever you use. HDMI cables can be tricky. Make sure that the different shades of color are matched up exactly. Ex: make sure light blue isn't plugged into the dark blue slot. it may not appear as if it matters but trust me it does.
