yes....most leave a little behind as the pump out hose is higher than the pump..

the E3 error is a result of water temperature not getting to a nominal value within a particular time. This could be caused by several factors like heater faulty, wash pump not working well, wash arms not circulating water as required. Need model number to help you further pin point if possible.
