Problem with D-Link 1360 n access point. Not able to visit ip address 192.168.0.50
The internal Wi-Fi radio is enabled by default on most new wireless routers.
However, if you purchased a D-Link router used, you may find that the internal radio is disabled because the previous owner had an exclusively wired network and wanted to eliminate the possibility of a hacker breaking into one of her computers.
Enable the Wi-Fi radio on your D-Link router to enable your computers to connect to the Internet wirelessly.
Connect the router to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
Open a web browser and browse the IP address "192.168.0.1."
Enter the username "admin" and leave the password blank.
Note that these are default values; both the user name and password can be changed.
Click the "Setup" tab at the top of the screen, then click the "Wireless Settings"
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Manual Wireless Network Setup" button.
Place a check in the box labeled "Enable Wireless" and click "Save Settings."

D-Link Wireless Router
D-Link routers use the connection from your Internet service provider to create a wireless network for the various Wi-Fi- enabled devices in your home or office.
Once the router is installed, you can truly enjoy the portable capabilities of your laptop or other wireless device.

Remove the cable that is attached to the "Internet" port on the rear of your DSL or cable modem.
Plug the Ethernet cable into the "Internet" port on the modem and plug the other end of the cable into the "Internet" port on the rear of the D-Link router. Attach the power adapter to the port on the rear of the router and plug the adapter's cord into a outlet.
Remove the power cord from your modem and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in.
This will reinitialize your modem and force it to establish a connection to the D-Link router.
Your router will immediately begin distributing a wireless network with the "D-Link" network name.
Connect your computer to one of Ethernet ports on the rear of the router and open a Web browser.
Type "http://192.168.0.1" into the address bar and press "Enter." Enter "admin" into the username field and type "admin" again into the password field.
Click "OK" to open the wireless configuration page. Click "Wireless Security Setup Wizard" to create a wireless password for your router's network.
Click "Apply" to save the changes to the router's settings.

Type the router IP address, "192.168.0.1", into your Internet browser. Press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Enter your username and password to log into the D-link configuration panel.
By default, the username is "Admin" with a blank password field.
To prevent outsiders from being able to access your D-link router's configuration panel, change the username and password to something more secure.
This can be done by selecting "Tools" from the menu and selecting "Admin."
Select "Administration Settings" and enter your new username and password.
Save your changes by clicking "Apply."
Enter the IP addresses for the computers you want to give access to your router.
You can do this by clicking the "DHCP" link underneath the "Home" tab.
Click "Apply" to save the IP addresses.

Enter a name in the "SSID" field to identify your wireless network.
Choose "WPA" for your "Security" option.
WPA will provide the highest level of security for your wireless network.
Create a WPA password to access your wireless network.
For maximum security, enter a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols.
Store your password in a safe place in case you ever forget it.
Click "Apply" to save your settings.
Install a software firewall program on your computer to add an additional measure of security for your wireless network.
A few of the popular firewall programs available are Norton Antivirus, McAfee and Zone Alarm.

LOST ROUTER LOGIN PASSWORD
If you have forgotten your personal router login password there is no way to recover it. You will have to reset the router. This means all the settings on the router will be reset to factory defaults. It also means that all your connected devices will need to be connected again with the new security information (WEP, WAP, etc,) . You will need the default admin login name and the default admin password. This can be found in the user guide that came with the router. This can usual be found online at the router manufacturers site.
There is usually a button or a switch hidden in a pinhole opening on the back of the router. Pressing and holding the switch for 10 seconds or so will cause the reset and usually the LEDs will flash and blink for several seconds as the router firmware sestets and clears out the old information.
If you are trying to get into someone else's router illegally there is no way to find out their login password.
For future reference, write the password down, or a hint at what the password is, on a piece of tape and secure it on the bottom of the router. I use my cell phone memo function to store all my passwords.
DAP-1360 won't respond or reset.
Click the Windows 7 "Start" button.
Type 'CMD' into the search-box, and press ENTER.
Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL' and press ENTER.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway" (or "DHCP-server").
Type that IP-address into your web-browser.

my guess is 2003 year made. XP first release is that.
one manual for it stamped 2003 so is 17 years old
