Look on Boats.net. They have the exploded view of most Honda generators with the parts identified. They also sell the parts. They are a great resource and have been good to buy from. (I have no affiliation to them other than I sometimes buy parts from them)

The EU3000 is a 120v generator so you cannot get 240v from it.

There is a grounding wire that runs from the negative side of the battery to the engine block that has been known to break at the spade lug where it connects to the engine block. It is connected on the block on the side of the engine opposite the door, so you have to remove the whole red shell cover to get to it to fix it. Without having the engine grounded, you will not get a spark. You can easily test to see if that is broken by connecting a wire from the ground terminal (on the side opposite the door) to the engine block. I used one of my jumper cables and just clipped one end to the terminal and the other to one of the bolts that I could get to inside the door. I have seen this on a couple different ones. I went crazy the first time... went as far as replacing the oil sensor figuring that was grounding the ignition..and it was this stupid ground wire. Finally fixed it for good with one of those $5 braided ground straps that you get at Autozone and went from the frame to the side of the engine.
