I have a Lexmark Pro901 that will not print both sides. I have updated the drivers for OS 10.8.2

I had to switch the setting on the physical printer itself to get mine to work correctly. On the 'Home' screen of the printer touch the sheets of paper next to the green leaf. That should turn on two-sided printing. I wish there was a way to do it from my computer but it always reverts back to "Use Printer Settings". I have a Lexmark Pinnacle Pro 901 printer and its set up to print using black ink only, but it keeps telling to replace color cartridges and it won't let me print at all, how do I print using blac

The printer would need all cartridges to have sufficient ink levels to continue printing - that's to prevent damaging the printhead. Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink. To save on your ink investment, try printing in draft mode and by making sure that your printing preferences is set to print using black ink only.

When making a copy the paper gets all crunched up inside the machine and stops the printhead

Sometimrs the paper in the tray collects moisture, try opening a new ream of paper and put in some of it to see if that works.

Black cartridge missing

I think it is a problem with the electrical connection between the ink cartridge and the print head, or the printhead and the printer. If it were me I would remove both of them and try to clean the copper electrical connecttions with an alcohol wipe. The kind you use to clean glasses would probably do fine. If that does not correct the problem, you may need to replace the printhead. About 40 bucks online i believe.

Why my printer say yellow cartridge missing,i replaced all of them

First thing I would do is to remove the yellow and put it back in, making sure it snaps in place properly. If that doesn't fix it you might be having a problem with the electrical connections on the print-head. Print-heads do act up sometimes. If it were mine, I would remove the ink cartridges and then remove the print-head and clean the electrical connections off on the print-head and the corresponding connections on the printer, using a alcohol wipe or something similar. Reinstall the print-head and ink and try it again. If that does not work you may need to replace your print-head. They are about 30-40 bucks online.

The printer control panel says 'undefined' against

I just had this problem on the same lexmark printer and it was relatively easy to fix. Go to the lexmark website and download the firmware for the printer. Pinnacle pro901 ADF won't clear a paper jam. There is no paper in it when you open the door but it errors out telling us to remove jammed paper

Why don't you ask in the "Printer" section? or just check the rollers in the printer.

If that's the case, the printhead will need to be replaced. If your printer is still under warranty, you can contact our technical support team to have the printhead replaced. If not, you can purchase a printhead online at http://bit.ly/IZYhWo.Also, make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. Refilled/remanufactured cartridges might damage your printhead.

Good afternoon. My Lexmark 792 printer shows error 956.02 at startup when adjusting colors, how can I solve it?

The 956.02 error on your Lexmark 792 printer indicates a system board issue.
