You don't start a print from the printer. The program you're printing from (Word, your e-mail program, Adobe Reader, etc.) sends the print job to the printer and the printer automatically begins printing. Those other buttons are there so you can manually start the operations that need your control.

maker sure the cleanout station is not stuck..it moves also...dont break it just see if it isn stuck...move the carriage back and forth. put paper in it and turn it back on.....if that does not work..take the paper out ..open the back and roll th big wheels a bit and try again.
