Here is the link:

If you still getting "install already in progress" error, you may want to reboot computer or restore the Operating System back a day.

Lexmark Z715 InkJet Printer: when beginning to print cartidges slam from side t...

Hi,

1. Right click in the printer driver name
2. Select Properties menu
3. Click Maintenance tab
4. Click on cleaning sign for regular cleaning. Perform this up to 3 times.
5. If this does not work, perform Deep Cleaning

And if that not work

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this,
But after you done this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

Ok.

There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them.

Please post your feedback and Vote if the issue is resolved as per your satisfaction.

It pulls more than one page into the printer . is

Please check your printer's rubber roller that is responsible in pulling out the paper. Please clean it from any accumulated dirt.

Also, one important thing is that make sure that your paper is not to thin sheets preferably substance 16 and above. Also, shuffle the pages before loading to the printer tray.

It keep saying my lexmark Z715 cannot be installed

Please define "It". Is "It" your operating system, your printer, your PC?

What operating system are you using and is the printer you are tying to install approved for that printer.

If you are trying to use a Win XP driver on a Vista system, they may not work. For Lexmark printers you need to visit the Lexmark web site www.lexmark.com and download the Vista driver for that printer.

The cartridge is moving like it is printing. But

make sure that the ink cartridge is full and is securley snapped into place. If you have alreayd checked that then chances are the printing head of your printer is damaged or the motor that move sthe printing head is damaged. Call the manufacturer and demand that you get a replacement printer (asumming that the one you have is under warranty).

I changed all the cartridges and it still won't

Are you sure you have the correct drivers installed for that exact model of printer? Check to make sure your OS recognizes the printer as having color capabilities. What happens when you print a test page?

Paper jam

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

How do I keep my ink cartridges from drying out ?

It would normally dry out if not used for a long time. Take it out and construct a cardboard casing around each cartridge so that the print head is not touching any surface. seal it with a plastic bag or container and store in a cool dry place. when you are ready to use them press the print head on a piece of tissue paper to prime the ink out. the ink should make a mark on the tissue's surface, then it s ready to be used.
