The Motorola WR850G is a wireless router that attaches to a
cable or DSL modem. The WR850G has two reset options.
Users can reset the router and retain the settings or reset
it back to factory specifications to clear all settings.
Resetting the router can help with network issues such as
dropped connections.
It can also resolve situations where the user has made
changes to the router's settings and can no longer connect to the router.
Look at the back of the Motorola WR850G router and locate the reset button. It
is a red button located to the left of the Ethernet ports.
Press the reset button on the Motorola WR850G router, and
release it immediately to reset the router without changing the settings.
Press the button on the Motorola WR850G router and hold it
for longer than five seconds to reset the router to factory specifications.
This setting resets the router's IP address and subnet mask
along with the user ID and password you use to log in to the router.

HOW DO I TURN ON UPNP ON MOTOROLA NVG510 MODEM
To acess your routers/modem configuration page do this. Open Internet browser. Be sure your connected via wired or wifi to the internet using the Motorola connection. Type in 192.168.0.1 and hit search or enter. You should see a Motorola login page. The factory log in info is "admin" for the username, and "motorola" is the password. Hit log in after entering that. You should be seeing now the settings for everything. At the top click "Advanced" then find where it says Enable UPNP and checkmark the box. Be sure to press save before exiting. Beware of messing around with other setting if you don't know what your doing because it will cause headache. Hope this works. It is how I've configured any Motorola access point I've had. If not, contact your ISP for help.

Please try the reset button on the back of the router in the following ways:1. Hold the reset button in until the lights flash on the front of the router (about 30-40 seconds). Now unplug the router for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Wait for all the lights to finish blinking. Router should be reset. (see end to tell if it was).2. Hold the reset button in for 30 secs, continue holding the reset button in while unplugging and plugging the router back in. Release the reset button and wait for the lights to finish flashing.3. Unplug the router, then hold the reset button in while powering back up. Keep the button held in for a good 30 seconds. If any of these resets work, you will have reset the router to factory defaults. Check your computers IP address. If it is (for example) 192.168.0.100, then the routers IP address will be 192.168.0.1 and the user name and password will now be back to the defaults.Hope this is helpfulP.S. I will be 49 this year and need to look at my drivers license too...LOL
How can i reset the password to my wireless router
Did you try unplugging it, holding the reset button for 30 seconds, then plugging it in (while holding the reset button), then (after I'd say like 5-10 seconds) letting go of the reset button? Also, if you're seeing a blank configuration page, it could be that the username/password combination is wrong. Try using username "admin" and password "password" "1234" "0000" "admin" and leaving the password blank. One of those combinations should work.
If none of those work, unfortunately, it might be that somehow the router got damaged or broken somehow. You can try some of the steps from the manual (located
here) to get it to work again, but you might want to look into a new router.
I forgot my password and
If you forgot the password, resetting the router will allow you to access the router's configuration screen again. However, this will reset the settings to default, and you will have to reconfigure the router.
To reset the router to the factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than five seconds. This clears the router's user settings, including User ID, Password, IP Address, and Subnet mask.
Here is the instruction manual for the WR850G Router (the above instructions are from page 1-8):
