Mic not working
the wires are thin and become unattached very easily. open the device carefully, the wires are also very short, solder the wire back into place.

My HS850 worn't hold a charge.
NO YOU CAN NOT REPLACE THE BATTERY AS IT IS INTERNAL WHEN THE BATTERY IS GONE YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW HEADSET UNLESS YOU ARE STILL IN THE 1ST YEAR YOU CAN SEND IT TO MOTOROLA FOR WARRENTY. IT SUCKS SO I OPTED TO TELL MOTOROLA THAT IF I HAD KNOW THIS I WOULD OF NEVER BOUGHT THE HEADSET FOR $120.00 AT THE TIME. THE DID A ONE TIME EXCHANGE FOR ANOTHER HEADSET AS I AM A LONG TIME CELL PHONE CUSTOMER. I TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT THE SAME HEADSET SO THEY EXCHANGED FOR THE OLDER VERSION HEADSET THAT USSES ONE ENERGIZER AAA. WHICH LASTS FOR 30 HOURS TALK TIME OR 30 DAYS STANDBY. WHICH I FEAL IS WELL WORTH THE 1 ENERGIZER AAA BATTERY. MOTOROLA MAILED ME A BLUETOOTH HEADSET H300. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS NICE OF THEM. BUT I ASTILL THINK THEY NEED TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE THAT THERE BLUETOOTH HEADSETS THAT THE BATTERYS CAN'T BE REPLACED. HOPE THIS HELPS

How do i connect motorola hs850 with lgcu720 (shine)
1. With the headset’s boom closed, press and hold the Multifunction
Button E until the headset indicator turns on (about 3 seconds).
2. Release the button, then open the headset boom.
3. The headset indicator remains on.
4. Perform a device discovery from the phone.
5. Select the Motorola HS850 from the discovered devices list and confirm following the on screen prompts.
6. When prompted by the phone, enter the passkey 0000 and confirm to pair the headset with the phone.
-
The device ID is now stored in the phone’s memory.
Pairing is successful when the headset indicator flashes 10 times
rapidly.
Hope this helps

HS 850 won't go into pairing mode
Usually to solve some pairing problems shut off bluetooth completely(no lights) Push and hold button until bluetooth comes on,flashes then steady light, you may have to hold button for ten seconds or more. Then put phone in pairing mode.

Hs850
I'm new to this site so I can only see your "I'm having the same problem" so I'll tell you what I know and hope that it answers what the question was.
Make sure your hs850 is charged. Close the boom, hold the multifunction button until the light turns on and open the boom while holding the button--then let go. if the light stays on you're in business, turn on the blue tooth setting of your phone on and search for new devices. then hit connect! ta-da!

Used bluetooth
The pin number on the HS850 is 0000. This pin number is factory default and cannot be changed.
Cheers.
