Motorola has had a lot of issues with the 9000 series displays.. your best bet is to RMA it. and get it fixed.

I sometimes will wipe the device clean and install a new version of OS.. but you can call motorola directly and ask for a download link for the build number you want. 1.847.576.5000 https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/US-EN/Mobile+Networks+RFID+and+BarCode+Scanners/Mobile+Computers/Handheld+Computers/MC9190_G_US-EN this link should get you in the right spot.. but you want the Cleaner Device Software if you can find it.. load it to a micro/SD card, put it into the device. plug into power, hold 1 & 9 press power.. release all.. press power again and hold yellow laser trigger until it asks you to update loader.. this will reset your device. we had to disable power save on ours cause the scanner sleeps and shuts off wifi, and took 1-2 minutes to reconnect to our wifi radios.. and the app would time out.. so I suggest doing the same.

To permanently disable the Suspend Mode on a MC9190:On your PC, create an empty text file, then type the 2 following lines:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts]"BattSuspendTimeout" = dword:00000000 Save the file, then change the extension to ".reg". This changes the text file into a registry file.Copy the registry file in the /Application folder of the scanner gun. Cold boot the device. Your MC9190 will no longer go to sleep mode, or "suspend mode".To automatically enable the Wireless antenna at startup, create another registry file, then type the 2 following lines:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WLAN]"InitialState"=dword:00000000Save the file, and copy it into the /Application folder of the scanner gun. Cold boot the device.

If you are using the Motorola Fusion Radio drivers, you could try editing the RF profile and altering the Battery Usage Mode setting from the default Fast Power Save to Continuously Aware Mode, (CAM). This will reduce the battery life but may well solve the RF problem.

If your MC3300 scanner is frozen on a white background with a blue Motorola symbol and says MC33X series, you can try a soft reset to see if that resolves the issue. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Hold down the power button until the scanner turns off.
2. Wait a few seconds, then press the power button again to turn the scanner back on.

If the scanner is still frozen after attempting a soft reset, you may need to perform a factory reset. Please note that performing a factory reset will erase all data on the device and return it to its default settings. To perform a factory reset on the MC3300 scanner, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously.
2. Keep holding both buttons until the scanner vibrates and the Motorola logo appears.
3. Release both buttons.

It can't be a Motorola, a Tracphone, a Samsung Galaxy A12 and an iPhone! That is 4 different makes. The unlock for Motorola depends on the model and age. The Tracphone and the Galaxy is a standard Android hard reset. The iPhone is hard reset using iTunes on a computer.
