Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ for Nikon TTL Flash Questions & Answers
DOES THIS FLASH WORK ON CANON REBEL XSI?
Yes and no. It will work fine as a manual flash, putting the burden of figuring out correct exposure on your shoulders. It will work fine in the automatic modes on a Nikon camera.
Quantaray makes a Canon version of the flash which will work in the automatic modes on the Rebel XSi.
Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ and Sony alpha 100
Having the same problem with the Quantaray 7500A and my Sony Alpha 200. I either have to go to full manual or overexposed. I've sent off a few emails to Ritz but still haven't gotten a reply.
Will not fire any more
Suggestion: Before to spend any money in this direction, try to clean the electric contacts and be sure that batteries are fresh and fully charged (a voltmeter can help).
Owner's manual or instructions?
Hey Guys -
I too had a similar situation and was told to contact Ritz Camera (I Googgled it). I also contacted the following company and finally got a manual:

Apparently, my flash,
QUANTARAY PZ-1 POWER ZOOM Flash unit , was sold under another name, PZ4000 Af. Hope this helps. If you have the same unit as me, conatct me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to send you the manual that was provided me.
Need a part
parts for items like this are virually none existant.
The normal thing to do is to replace the whole item.
However if it is of recent manufacture then try the customer support team at Nikon
How can I get my cracked Quantaray lens repaired
Sorry, you have not said where your country of origin nor which lens needs repair, thus we cannot make any suggestions. There are numerous repair shops around the world. Doing a Google/Bing/Yahoo search will provide you repair shops; one may be close to you. Also, depending on the lens you may be better of replacing it with a more updated better quality one; just a thought.
