Connect the headset to the charger as if you were charging it, but keep one side in your ear. Once connected to the charger, hold down the power button. It'll beep a few times and then stop. Radio Shack has a pretty good search feature for old instructions on their website. You will need their part number off the unit, which will be something like "20-321". Do a search and you can get a PDF instruction manual for it online.

How to manage a long waiting queue in restaurant/clinic/service centre?


In Singapore, we noticed that many restaurant/clinic/service centre/etc usually forms a long queue either waiting for table or seeing a doctor or waiting to be served.

It seems that none of the owner are keen to look into a better system to resolve such unpleasant situation. In fact, you will notice that loss of business due to frustration queuing (esp. restaurant), angry customer (esp. service centre) and fear of contact (esp. clinic) in most cases.

Your antenna should not make any difference with power or receiving. Is the scanner mobile or in a room? Hard to imagine the connector being broken. You could test the antenna or even the BNC connector on the scanner. Try another antenna. If you wiggle it, does it start receiving? You may have a short in the BNC to the receiver. Other than that, look to power issues.
