Password bios sony pcg-7153l

Hello you just have to remove the cmos battery for 10 min an insert it again. This will clear the bios to factory settings. You need to set up the bios boot settings when job is done. The homepage:http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=VGNNS290JS&template_id=1&region_id=1&tab=manuals#/manualsTabThe battery in several sony is under the speaker/power switch section above the keyboard. You will see a screw, possibly next to the memory card slot, top left side. Unscrew the single screw, and CAREFULLY slide the top piece over then lift up to remove...but be CAREFUL because there are 2 flat ribbon cables attached to connect the piece to the motherboard. On 3 different sony systems the battery has been under this section. They are ridiculously expensive, so look for a generic replacement or be prepared to fork out at least $25 for a tiny battery. Your local sony service center or a computer repair shop can also help you with removing the password. But they will charge you a bit of money for the job.Good luck

I need to reset my password on my Dell Studio

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

Restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

if this fails to remove your password

The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.

click start control panel Open User Accounts in Control Panel. On the Users tab, click the name of the user whose password you want to change, and then click Reset Password. In New password and Confirm new password, type the new password, and then click OK. Notes You can change passwords only for local computer accounts, such as guest, administrator, or accounts you create for your computer. You cannot change your network logon password in User Accounts. To change your own password, press CTRL ALT DELETE and then click Change Password also if you are not the computer administrator and have not assigned a bios password during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there also click start control panel user accounts on the users tab, click the name of the computer administrator you must have full control can change the password there

hope this helps you

start a windows xp system up n safe mode then click on control panel ten user accounts then the specified user which is password protected and it allows you to change the password without knowing the original one. Restart the computer. Repeatedly press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options screen appears. Select the Safe Mode option using the up and down arrow keys, then press the ENTER key. Choose "Windows XP Home/Professional", depending on the version of the operating system. Press ENTER. Shortly, the welcome screen should show. Log in as "Administrator". Click Yes to not use System Restore Mode. Click the Start button. Choose Run and type in "control userpasswords" (without the quotes). Click OK.: Select the "Administrator" user. Click Change my password. Enter a new password in the corresponding text boxes. Click OK. Write this password down and store it in a secure place. I do not recommend that a password hint be used. Close the User Accounts window and restart Windows.: hope this helps you:

Mother board power switch

I don't know what you are asking for exactly, so I'll through out possibilities.

A) The Power On switch located inside the plastic Power On button assembly is a Momentary Contact Switch.
It is an ATX power on switch.

This is a generic example of a Power On switch that fits Many models,

http://www.amazon.com/Power-Motherboard-Cable-Switch-Button/dp/B00345WH4A/ref=pd_cp_e_2

B) The plastic front of the computer is a Front Panel.
The area of pins on the motherboard, that the cables (Wires) from the Front Panel go to, is the Front Panel header.

Intel Support > Intel D865GLC motherboard > Product Guide,

To find out if the problem is the Power On switch, or the Power Supply, perform the simple test using a jumper wire.
If you do not know how to perform this test, and wish to, post in a Comment.
